And Nates voice is amazing without auto tune, he's not trying to alter it, it's just for the affect of the song and he said himself that he likes how it sounds and how it enhances the song
Love you guys! Still listening december 2019! You've guys motivated me with your music. Now writing a speech for my old teachers for their help all the years and this specific music just motivated me. One word, 6 letters. Thanks.
For everbody bitching about 3:18, they never play this song without that effect. It's part of the song. And fyi the rest of the song is performed without autotune, so I don't really see what there is to bitch about. Effects like this have been used in music for over 50 years. Anybody heard of the talkbox?
***** Yeah I agree. I think when used right effects like that are totally fine. And idk if "autotune" is technically correct, my point was just that electronic modification of music in general has been a common tool for a long time.
You clearly don't know what autotune is or how it works. He uses an effect which multiplies his voice into different octaves so it makes it sound like there's multiple people singing.
@Night Hawk LIVE so there's like people responsible for the sound and everything and they put these effects on the mics of the singers such as in this case with F.U.N.
@@felsner1 Nope, it's both. Listen closer. It's also doing pitch correction on his vocals and THEN adding a harmony. But since Nate was mixing it up and singing a different melody to the main song, it was setup wrong and sounded awful.
it's not autotuning, it's an effect... whatever. I personally like pure music more, but that's me. In this performance the effect adds something to the song, so what's the problem ?
I think a Harmony engine was used here. The next best thing would be a choir to back him up. Then on most nights I don't know two people would sing unison Melody with him.
I liked Fun back in the day and liked Nate when he sang for the Format ... when I first heard them I'm like ... that sounds like the guy from the Format haha sure enough ... but fast forward about 10 years and the guitarists band "Bleachers" is so much better and more enjoyable to listen to now. They had their time and now they're all doing different things. Cheers to Fun and may fun live on in different avenues.
Sorry, but that sounds like crap I'd never ever listen to, but at all I like the edited CD-version of the song. This one just sounds like some weird guy on drugs tries to sing.
He can sing, but the autotune for this song i think its malfunctioning. I hear him, live and his voice is so powerful. And can hit E5, so do yourself a favor, watch the other lives he did okay.
