This place is bananas. I've never been on a gokart track like this one... it seems to be the only one of its kind. The drop is an incredible thing to experience in a go-kart. The whole park was great, too - all of the attendants were kind and polite, and Old Town is a gem. I wish we'd found this place before the last day of our trip!
@@Supanikaa89 Definitely no faster than 20mph - think "putt-putt golf style go-karts", not "they make you wear a helmet and watch a safety video go-karts". The speed isn't what made it remarkable, though; it's the sheer implausibility of this kind of thing existing in The Current Year, and the novelty of driving an amusement-park go-kart down a giant drop into a huge banked turn. Note: the two-seaters have bigger engines; if the combined weight of yourself and your passenger isn't too great, you will likely motor past the single-seaters with ease. I'm ~185lbs and my 4-year-old is about 40lbs, for reference.
man, i wish there was something like this in California, i mean, there's K-1 and Speed Zone, but they don't have a helix and drop or anything, they're just normal tracks.
Didn't know such go kart courses excited! In the Netherlands the go kart tracks are pretty lame and short... there are a few tracks with multiple levels (floors) but it is still flat and the hills are lame too!
Here is my opinion to anybody who thinks that they may be interested in going to this park - do not go... At least not to this one. This Kissimmee location is absolutely terrible. I went there a few months ago and I was utterly appalled. There was crappy service, the rides barely constituted as "fun", the go-karts were so crappy that they kept malfunctioning and shutting down, and the go-kart tracks are not well made, and have giant cracks in the concrete like the one shown at 0:35. If you want to go to the REAL Fun Spot, go to Fun Spot America, which is only slightly longer of a drive than this horrible location. Over there, you will encounter a recent expansion, which includes many new and thrilling rides, 4 go-kart tracks (Red= Thrasher, Blue= Conquest, Yellow= Quad-Helix, Green= Commander; Conquest is my favorite), and two new roller coasters, White Lightning and Freedom Flyer (both POV's for these coasters are posted on the Theme Park Review channel, so I recommend that you check them both out). There is also a pretty descent restaurant over there, and on the far side of the park is a 2-story air-conditioned arcade with over 100 arcade games! In my opinion, White Lightning is by far the best part of their expansion. I have ridden it many times and enjoy it very much. It is a ride for everybody, unless you are one of those people who cannot endure losing a tiny bit of their stomach and handling the effects of gravity on your body while going up and down. Freedom Flyer is also an extremely exceptional coaster for the little ones and their parents (a word of advice for those who ride this to keep your head back while riding, because if you do not, you may get a little dizzy while making those turns). Make sure to visit Fun Spot America, because it is much better than this crappier Kissimmee version!
It's super fun go karts but also dangerous I'm from canada and it's illegal to not wear a helmet so ya and also the brakes are terrible my dad and little brother went on a 2 seater kart and there brakes sucked going down hill together they are about 300lbs and it's a bumpy track
