Love that you are also starting to show counted and stamped cross stitch. I adore doing both and July is when I really like doing counted as the sun is out more here in the U.S. it is easier to see the materials. I would recommend using your light paid underneath (on lap or table depending on how you prefer to stitch), in addition to the overhead lighting, when doing the black material stitches. It will help illuminate the holes in the fabric for you. That is how I do my stitching on very dark color materials. I generally don’t go below 18 count so not sure how this works for people with the even smaller counts as those may be too small for the light pad to assist with seeing from underneath. Petite stitches are mini cross stitches in the square. So in a square that would be normally on full cross stitch, for petite stitching is on tiny cross stitch in one of the corners. The best way to think about it would be four petite stitches will fit in the Sam space as one whole cross stitch. Another way to think about petite stitches is make a quarter stitch into a tiny cross stitch. Hope I explained that okay. It is hard to explain, but not hard to do if you can already do quarter stitches.
July. Lovely kits you have there. I also bought some with beads and they look fancy to me. According to what I found trough searching for petite stitch it's a 3/4 stitch.

I loved the cats and the stitch witch. I just started a counted one, I find it less relaxing since I’m constantly counting and recounting and looking and the paper. But I do like the progress showing up! I would also love to see stitch alongs (when your hand heals off course!) I believe a petite stitch is stitching a quarter of the square, so you can fit 4 petite stitches in 1 square (if I’m right.. I believe so!)
July. I loved all of them! However, being a somewhat new beginner, I would go for the first two kits. The others by One room seem to be for advanced stitchers. Thank you for sharing your purchases.
