I’ve been a hvac engineer for 20+yrs now and found your videos while scrolling through RU-vid….so glad I did as I watch them all the time, wealth of knowledge and learning new things about plant I hadn’t worked on before. I tell my lads who work with me to watch them to learn from….the time and effort you have put in must be incredible to produce such detailed and informative videos…well done mate…keep it up..👏🏻
this is an incredible resource. i'm 19 and and just getting into the HVAC field and beside my mentor i don't really have any other source for information. i really appreciate the time and effort went into this especially in the diagrams and schematics designed, much easier to understand over someone trying to explain a specific system, part or unit.
Really pleased to hear these resources are being used to help young engineers. It can be difficult to get the hands on experience and exposure that's why we try to include as many models, photos and real life examples as possible. There's plenty more videos on the way!
With all due respect, dude you need to be a lecturer in a university. You would be the most favourite teacher in the Mechanical Engineering Course Hands down! Best explanation of HVAC ever!
Thanks Raghav. I like to teach via youtube because then anyone in the world can learn as long as they have internet access, plus all our videos are free! university is expensive, limited to just a single class and usually not available online to relearn
Thank you very much for the video. I'm new to a HVAC system, always being doing Fire Protection and Water Supply System design, but my new job requires me to understand HVAC system and this helps me a lot. Thank you again and God bless you!!
I'm a new HVAC apprentice with a lot of mechanic experience, but I just wanted to say your videos are worth the time. Very thorough and knowledgeable. The software you used to narrate the systems is really cool. Keep up the good work brother. I'm liking and subscribing after this video. This is the 2nd video I watched and will continue to watch your content.
@@alex5k3aj81 is going to be depressed so i can go to sleep so he can sleep in the morning baby shower and sleep in the shower and then she will cry and cry cry crying cry cry anymore anymore so so sad face face
I had to pause the video at 18:00 minutes just to show appreciation for how much I've learned so far from your knowledge. I'm brand spankin' new to the HVAC world and I start technical school July 5th. I'm taking HVAC/R and PLC Systems. I hope to start some sort of basic work at least halfway through the school year if I get lucky. Can anyone give me any advice on starting off fresh? This is a major decision I've made but I also look at it as an investment for my life and career. I'm 27 and I need good career like this one. I would appreciate any advice from anyone out there in the field. Thank you so much for this video. New sub here.
Hey Bodega, really glad to hear the videos are helping you and that you've gone into HVAC. It'll definitely be an interesting career choice. My advice would be to ask everyone everything, if you see something and you don't know what it is and how it works then ask around until you find someone who does. Never be embarrassed to ask or to learn, no one was born with knowledge, it is something we acquire. If a service engineer comes in, shadow them and pester them so you know exactly what they are doing and why. Write down the model numbers of equipment and ask the manufacturers for their service guides. Lastly, don't over complicate things, large systems are complex but if you break each part down it becomes much more simple.
Can't believe you share this invaluable product for free! We must pay for it expensive costs in university only for theories, without any visual explanation. Your solidworks design skill is admirable too. Thank you so much.
Absolutely it is worthy. but we have limitations in Iran for creating foreign pay-portal like paypal, visa, mastercard by the sanctions. These Days due the historical downfall of Iran currency(Persian Rial), the government prohibited exchanging foreign currencies. News are my witnesses. Hope you accept my apology.
I am a beginner with only a few months doing tape and mastik. This helped me understand so much about HVAC that I did not have answered by my trainer/Boss
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! This is so rare to come by. I’m in project coordination expected to know this, but no one takes the time to teach you and this is an amazing resource! Exactly what I needed. You give so much useful information, supported with the right images and real world examples. I don’t have words to express my gratitude. Thank you!
Wow!!! the videos are so awesome and delivery with schematics just great, I'm part of a design team for 10, 000 capacity auditorium, you videos made a whole lot of difference...thanks
Paul, thank you so much for the videos on this incredible channel! You clearly put a lot of time and effort into them and have a wealth of knowledge on a wide array of subjects. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge; it's much appreciated!
This is such a great tool . I’m a site manager architectural based this gives me the perfect insight of how technical services function. Well put together and explained for someone like me to understand. Please keep them coming
Thank you very much for the incredible work you have done. This tutorial really helped me get a better understanding of the HVAC system and prepared me for my interview. I truly appreciate the help.
I am new to hvAC world but this guy very outstanding job in clarifying many of my doubts and helped me gain detailed understanding about functionality and application of different parts and components. Absolutely loved it.
BEST VIDEOS ON HVAC SYSTEM. I request you to please upload a video explaining the control devices used in HVAC .I want to know the nature of signal used to control the devices like actuator .How DDC controls the devices like actuators using dry contacts. What is the source of supply for actuator
This is the very best of the best of HVAC clips on the internet. you really took your time to make sure even a dummy would understand it. Thanks for these treasures.
Really unbelievable describe about HVAC system. its very effluent for beginner and advance level student. Its totally practically provide for all of theory. Love it thank you so much.
thanks z a small word to explain our feelings for shearing your knowledge. I have seen most of people in practical world will never share their knowledge and teach the junior ones. your efforts to make this world a better place zz more then appreciated.
Thanks for these videos. Just started as a project engineer at a mechanical insulation company and this has been so amazing for me to learn. FYI, the main job I work on is the MSG Sphere at the Las Vegas strip. Amazing place!
the work done on this video is astonishing. just imagine how much work that 3d model requires, and then how much work is required to make a video out of this...
Thank you so much for making all of these videos! I’m studying for my Architectural Registration Exam and these videos have been so helpful! I’ve shared your channel with all my friends!!
Thank you very much for the video!!! It was very helpful to see the actual parts, because in college, most of the times we don't get to see actual components of an HVAC system.
Found this video and also other videos on your channel. I just graduated from manufacturing background but trying my odds on building services. I knew just a little about HVAC system, and your videos made a great deal of help. Thanks for making such great videos, hope to see more soon! :)

Hi Our air handling unit is not working on auto mode but its working in hand mode with fan air flow alarm and no vfd feedback if i start it in auto it will run and after few minutes its get trip
Having little to no experience in HVAC the explanations were simple and easy to follow along especially with the cursor movements used to point out exactly what Paul is talking about. A great instructor who is calm, informative and knowledgeable. Keep up it, I’ll be watching more videos soon.
Superb sir, salute from india I am instructor in government industrial training institute in ahmedabad for refrigeration & ac trade Thank you very much sir
i love your video , sir please do a video on calculations to be done to recognize how much electricity or energy is required for chillers, boilers and ahu's for a specific floor.Thank you very much
please keep up the good work! I can see so much effort being put in to produce this clip and indeed, the others, which all are essentially a library of knowledge for a new graduate engineer to explore outside of the theoretical world.
Thanks for this video I just recently got my hvac certification but I want to learn so I could get a job in it . If anybody in nyc who's willing to hire a newbie in hvac to learn. I'm your guy and I learn quick once it's hands on
Great video! 👍👍👍 Don't forget to grease your motors and fan pullies. Want to learn when and how to check steam traps and if they're working or not. Also how to blow out/drain/clean the strainers? And how often to do it. Once or twice a year. And which straine is most important to check, hot or cold? Please explain in basic terms how to trace the supply and return lines for heat and or steam and or cold and condensate?
thanks for the reply and sharing the link. Even though the AHU's here where I am at are built different, its the same concept. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait for other HVAC videos and related concepts.
