I hope fundy gets more recognition as an actor in dream smp lore, his character is genuinely really really interesting and Fundy himself is a really *really* good actor
Dude that the problem I'm having its 1am so I got to be quiet but if I turn down my volume I cant hear phil if I turn it up fundy's screams will surely wake everyone up
When fundy blew up his base someone in the chat was like :,, Like father like son" 💀 Hi it’s me from the future and um…Fundy just k worded himself in front of his father, so this whole „like father like son“ thing is really getting out of hand 😃
fundy in the beginning: *is ignored and doesn't get lore for the longest time* fundy now: *is the best actor on the server, has the most complicated lore yet, and grapples with almost the same amount of trauma as tommy*
Y’all r ignoring Tommy, like Ik he’s been main character, but there’s a reason too it, Tommy’s an amazing actor, not only has he done amazing lore but he fools us in his streams too, like when the “sidemen didn’t know he was streaming”, so yes fundy is an amazing actor but don’t try to put him ahead of everyone else like big q, Wilbur, DREAM, and a lot of other people. Thanks :)))
I think Ghoustbur was the good side of Wilbur and in his dream when he slowly disapeared it was i think trying to tell him that Ghoustbur will die and he should of enjoyed him while he was here . Atleast Thats my head cannon
Actually: to revive someone, Dream has to write down the revive book in another regular book and then burn it to revive someone. Therefore it does exist occasionally, temporarily, but the original no longer exists as it was used/burnt.
Thinking about how Phil was lied to and just found Wilbur standing in the middle of a chaos, literally insane and he didn't even have the proper context to know exactly what was going on-
Yeah, that’s why he tried to stop Wilbur blowing it up. All he knew was that he was trying to blow up a country he helped create and he tried to stop him from doing it, not knowing that L’manburg was the problem all along. (I’m a Tommy apologist, and I miss L’manburg very much because of all the memories so it hurt me to type that- but if I’m honest it was.)
Fundy’s character is so fun and casual that his lore feels a lot like ranting but with a lot of meaning,,, and that’s another reason why he’s one of the most tragic characters
@@aristotleshadow9296 one thing, persuasion. He easily persuades people, that's what made him a good leader. He knew what makes people happy, what makes people listen. He knows people's minds. If he finds some way to persuade let's say Ranboo (who is possible one of the easiest people to persuade) to start a war between snowchester and another nation. He could save dream, causing him to owe Wil. Some many people trusted wilbur when he was obviously going insane, what stops him from persuading them to trust him
Man, I don't think I've seen anyone on the Dream SMP get as serious about their roles as Fundy. Don't get me wrong, they're all fantastic actors and I love watching them, but DANG. Fundy's performances are just absolutely heart wrenching. You can just FEEL his pain, and it's like you're experiencing everything right along with him.
It may sound weird but I like the jokes. I'm completely fine with serious lore but the jokes help retain my attention. Obviously if something needs to be serious, keep it serious, but if something isn't that important, why not make jokes.
well, I don't think the serious lore would mean anything if they were always serious, and you gotta have some fun! being serious all the time would be exhausting.
yeah i mean after all this is literally minecraft i feel like too much movie-like seriousness takes away from that, we need the jokes & the bits to make it that much more enjoyable
You know what really messed up about this situation that I don't think a lot of people see is that Wilbur is Fundy's father who clearly never had a good relationship with him in the first place. Now he is revived and Wilbur never even thought about telling Fundy he had to find out from his grandfather.
Fun fact: Wilbur was never GOING to apologise to Fundy. He was meant to say sorry to Nihachu (as his final apology) but Eret led him to Fundy. He also said he'd *consider* apologising to Fundy.
Rewatching old Dreamsmp videos and HOLY HECK Fundy’s acting is so good!! I frickin love this, you can hear the emotion in his voice as if he’s actually experiencing it irl. He’s just so good at acting bro. Fundy is seriously so under-appreciated and underrated in every way possible from his coding skills to his goofing around to his acting abilities. He’s just so talented!!
" Phil, I'm scared." " I'm scared too, 13 years can do a lot..... from the sounds of things it seems that he already had changed long before the events...."
Destruction is in his blood: Philza: turns a nation into bedrock deep hole. Wilbur: destroys a nation with tnt. And now Fundy: destroys a building with tnt.
Just some thoughts on the revival book: I think the revive book changes the past so that the person was never killed but the only person who remembers is fundy because he is remembering his dreams/nightmares. So fundy is the only person who knows the original past. Edit: I am at 42:00 and I just realized Wilber is linked to jshlat so he keeps saying “I” but he is really saying “me and shlat” think about in the messages replays “i” with “wilber and shlat” and it make so Much sense. Edit 2: of somone who makes videos sees this pls make a video about these theories it will be vary interesting.
fundy's "would you like the long story? reminded me of wilbur's "would you like another story?" in one of tommys videos. they both said that to phil and than he said "you defenitely inherited that from will" im not crying you are.
Maybe Wil lied in the letters because he wasn't proud of what happened, and didn't want Phil to know. 'Cause he did say "I wonder if Philza would be proud of me" in a stream during the pogtopia arc. Questioning his decision about hiding the truth? Perhaps. But moving on to the other question, "Why would Dream revive Wilbur?", he probably wants him to have a debt with him, that way he has more chances to get out of prision. He has Technoblade's favor, apparently Ranboo, and now Willbur. He could even work as a distraction! While Wil goes around praising Dream, Ranboo and Techno have it easier to help in the shadows if the target's at Wilbur.
Yeah they were very relieving and idk if it was just me but in this lore stream they seemed a lot more like... natural? Like in the way that they still (to me) seemed to stay in character and it wasn’t awkward and they kind of played it into their characters which was cool
Yo......this is top tier acting, holy crap... O_O I've only recently got into watching DreamSMP stuff......these guys are so freaking talented, holy cow....
11:21 by when Phil said: it sounds like you are going though things, I got a tear in my eye how sad FUNDY was and how badly he and me (and maybe others to) want that house blown up
All I'm seeing is the effect of Wilbur of Fundy from beginning to end and the end of the lore having Fundy blowing his house up is mmm *chef's kiss* 😎💅✨
Fundy: *blames stuff to somebody who made L'manberg drop down on its knees* also Fundy: *sabotages the war supplies they gathered as Tommy commanded them to*
