Funeral procession for Lt. Michael Hoosock 

A procession escorts the body of Onondaga County Sheriff’s Lt. Michael Hoosock from the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road, Salina, N.Y., to the State Fair Expo Center in Geddes. Dozens of police motorcycles, police and fire rescue vehicles accompanied the hearse. The procession included eight limos, more than a dozen fire trucks and at least 50 police and sheriff’s deputy vehicles. Other vehicles were from state agencies, including New York State Police and the Department of Environmental Conversation.The funeral for the fallen officer was scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and is open to the public.
