That is exactly why it is said that there will be surprise in heaven. Many of us are so darn holy we will lose our own soul. Grieving is an interesting process. We all grieve in our own way. Her expressing herself, with no disrespect whatsoever should have been handled differently. Pastor was so grumpy and unhappy in himself I guess he felt powerful with that action. Not sure why so many of us as Christians tend to believe that Christianity is all doom and gloom. Doom and gloom feeds stress. It breaks the spirit and makes us hopeless. Laughter lifts the spirit. It is contagious. Let us learn to treat others with respect and kindness. Let us give others an opportunity to share their thoughts. We can accept it or reject it, but give them a chance. They might be going through some tough stuff too and just needed that outlet. Humility, Pastor, is a virtue. Be kind. Be gracious. You could have asked her to wrap it up. You were very unkind. That power struggle and that angry face won't reserve a spot for you anywhere. GOD IS LOVE.

He probably could have won a whole family and build the membership in his church. But it is us who turn people away from serving God

Order must be restored, she could not be allowed to go on as she pleases or everyone else would have to be given the same opportunity. Order and protocol is expected everywhere else, why not in these instances too? Wisdom must be used.

This lady is fortunate that she was allowed to go on as long as she did. People must be mindful of how they behave in places like this. She did fine at the very beginning when she was giving praise to God, but she should have thanked God for the life of the loved one who was gone on and sat down. However, she did not do that did she? No. She continued to go on seemingly giving praise about herself and everything else. The pastor did no wrong in how he interrupted her because it could have been worse. And to think that she gave him eyes when he came, rather patiently, and took the mike. Sit down ma'am. You've had the lion share of the tribute time to the point where no one else had time to go up after you. Let's be respectful how we enter and conduct ourselves in the house of the Lord. Amen!!!!! P.S. I thank God the Pastor had the guts to stop her when he did. Afterall, someone had to take control of the situation.

This was a heartfelt tribute to the lady who has gone to rest and I loved every minute of it. The sister kept the melody going, her creative songwriting skills were evident and her rapping talent left us all speechless - and all this was done to the glory of God. ❤❤❤❤ (The lovely young moderator was cracking up …”We’ll have one more tribute….Pastor says no more…”. ) Thanks for sharing this video.

The lady's actions were not inappropriate. People express their love in different ways, and her tribute to her friend was an example of this. Instead of criticizing her, we should focus on how God is using her to bring comfort to the family in their time of need.
I absolutely agree with you. she brought joy to many right there. He could have stood next to her to let her know time is of the essence. He did not have to just take the microphone from her as if she did not matter. hmmmm. Some kind of angry leader.

The pastor made the correct decision. There are rules in everything. People can not be allowed to do whatever they want in church or any other place. When you go to your job or even the airport, you follow the rules because you don't want to be kicked out. Is that correct?
The Bible said we should present ourselves as a living sacrifice. So even when we sing more that the singing bird if we do not present our self as God said we are just making noise before God.
