I didn't end up making it to this level when I played the game as a kid. However, listening to the music recently got me immediately thinking I sound give it a try.

You need relational connection to cure depression. It will help fill the void in your soul that we all have for unconditional love. At the same time, the vast majority of us humans are imperfect, and although some of us make better friends than others, every one of us will inevitably disappoint you sometimes. Is there anyone isn't imperfect, and will offer you unconditional love? Anyone significant in human history? Anyone?

I always loved this song. It feels like having a grand adventure in an ancient enchanted forest. It's also has a way of making me nostalgic, even when I 1st heard the theme, in the stage

This stage was originally supposed to be in Banjo-Kazooie, but due to time constraints, it was omitted and became a stage in Donkey Kong 64.

It was supposed to be a Aztec or Mayan Temple in the jungle in Dream.

I didn’t know that but as a kid playing this game back then, I am so glad this was in DK64 as this was not only my favourite level but also one of my favourite games. Sadly I missed out on Banjo so I don’t have any nostalgia for that game.

I have some fond memories of this level, but there's 3 things that I remember to be my bane. 1 is the fight with dogadon, as a kid I could never beat her with Chunky. 2 is the rotten tomatoes, as a kid they scared me, it made it more scary to me that they couldn't be killed, to top it off when you first get into the room where they are a worm is begging for help. Now I can beat the boss just fine now, and I figured out a way to kill the tomatoes, but 3 still is my bane to this day, and that's the second rabbit race.

@@prototypexci2368 No Dogadon is a girl, the cutscene before diddy fights her he squishes her child, true that doesn't absolutely prove that she's a girl, but that as well as the finger waggle she does like a tisk tisk for me as a kid told me a mom like character.

@@nekupe Yeah I played dk 64 when I was a kid and I still do, but all this time I though Dogadon was a boy because the name sounds manly, and I though Dogadon was the dad of the little dogadon

That second rabbit race... I feel you, it was the only part in the game where you needed to backtrack and on top of that even with the fast barrel from Crystal Caves, it was hard af

Did you know that Fungui Forest was intended to be in a Banjo-Kazooie game instead of Donkey Kong 64? Is a Banjo-Kazooie discarded level reused for DK 64.
