Soliloquy sounded like “im sad im gonna die” which wasn’t bad, but this song truly sounds like a farewell note for BF. Also the instrumental is times better. This might be my favorite replacement we’ve had so far. 10/10 song.

It's awesome, especially the part where BF fights back even if it was futile in the end, theres so emotion during the song, I have my headcannon where Narrator BF DID have the power to reset one time during the song, but realizes that its far too dangerous putting every life in danger, so he just gives up and let whatever happen, happens, with a smile

its not that it *is* it is because of the drama that occured. i personally used to consider it my favourite, hence why… i did the replacement lmao, obviously with recent drama i dont really feel comfortable supporting the actions of what the original composer did, even talking about it is, a bit too much for me. but!, structurally no, its not a bad song just tainted now.
I was just wondering to myself the other day when soliloquy was gonna get its replacement, and here it is - and it's beautiful. The raw emotions and feeling of desperation it gives off, the slow ticking of the clock to show time running out, that short outburst bf gave giving a feeling of hope, repeating his friends motifs, only to succumb once more, and the piano at the end fading away with bf. So much I could say about how great of an improvement this is to its counterpart, but I'll keep it short and say it is perfect. This is the send off Bf deserved after all he went through. Amazing job!
I honestly really like this and the part where narrator bf starts fighting back and gets energised reminds me of the soliloquy cover that was called endurance and was soliloquy but soul bf is there and i could see a but soul bf is there kind of cover for this song maybe around the time monsters hallucination lyrics show up soul bf interrupts through a miracle coming back from narrator bf not giving up and accidentally with the last of his willpower revives soul bf allowing the two to fight together and survive together? its just an idea anyone could use if they wanted to regardless this song is amazing
This is absolutely the perfect send off for BF. The energetic bits where he remembers the first 6 weeks, re-singing his old songs, it sounds so much more in tune with his character. This song is by far a massive improvement to Soliloquy.
Wow holy fuck, I wasn't expecting this song to go as hard as it did. When I heard that the replacement song for Soliloquy was coming soon, I was thinking it was gonna be difficult to match the emotional tone as that song did, but upon listening to this, I was honestly surprised at how good this is. That ending part with GF making a slight appearance has gotta be the best part of the song, I love how the instrumental increases volume after 2:42, kinda adds to the feel that this is the end for BF. Oh and you can't forget Dyan's lyrics here, bro did an insane job on them. Incredible work to you though Archie, you did amazing on this!

these replacements just keep winning wow, so far pretty much none of them have felt like a downgrade from the original that being said, i really like what this song does on its own merits and not just in comparison to soliloquy! there's a very beautiful feeling to this one in a way i don't think i can describe well, but it's larger than life and manages to combine fear, hope, and bliss in such a seamless manner that ending sequence is so fuckin good, just an absolute blast of emotion that perfectly communicates every little thought it wants to and if i'm right, is that the sound of the ocean after bf has passed on? what a thoughtful way of symbolizing peace, acceptance, and the never-ending flow of time that bf has fully embraced in his last moments (gf showing up for a couple seconds also hits hard as hell man) and IN comparison to the og song, i think the pacing on this is a lot better? whereas that song pretty much dumped references to official fnf songs back-to-back, there's a much more subtle integration of a few of those songs here, it's still a trip down memory lane but it's also primarily an original song bf sounds a lot better too, soliloquy had boyfriend keep a similar tone throughout and while there was nothing wrong with that, the constant swinging up & down of the vocals in this song are a lot sadder and more human to me if there's one thing i had to criticize i think that the monster vocals feel a tad contrived narratively (i personally don't see much reason for bf to hallucinate his enemy when he's already "won" in a sense) but i think they flow with the song nicely enough that i'm not bothered by it and it doesn't take away any points from me is this too much thought for an fnf song that was made for a silly mod about a contagious virus? maybe, i know that's a joke with fnf yt commenters to look too deep into this kinda shit, but i really mean it when i say i think you've created something legitimately meaningful (i also don't think this is the first time i've brought that up so maybe you could say i'm too self conscious about it but eh) i can't wait to see people's reaction in-game whenever the mod actually comes out, i bet it'll hit just as hard (if not harder) once the player marathons throughout the game i think that's all i have to say though, this is an easy S tier and it'll probably be the first song that comes to mind when i want to listen to a chilled fnf song for months to come

This song is one of the best, this is a good farewell for Bf, simply incredible, very good work and I love that lemon demon says something (I think the lyrics are from lemon demon because they are yellow and he is the only one who has a voice) , lemon demon is the main villain so more appears is better
