Actually, he meant that officers get paid to be there( i.e no prisoner no job for officers). However, prisoners actually cost the state (taxes payers)million a year to be there.
I've never been to prison, but I have been in a prison, to visit my mom's former boyfriend who spent 10 years in prison for a bank robbery. He was released in 1993, got himself a good job as a welder. But only a few months after being released he was killed in a car accident on the Golden State bridge. R.I.P. Paul Washington.
aw man...i remember when this used to come on tv in the 90's. NETWORK tv. they didn't bleep any of the words out either. back then dad's would sit they kids in front of the tv, put this on and be like "just watch...if you ever act up, that's where you going". lol

I agreed with you Dee, when you said "They ain't kill nobody!" But then I thought of all the people who were thrown in with murderers for committing lesser crimes than murder, and sad to say some of them don't even survive their first week in lockdown.

Oh my God Dee, the 1978 ( it was originally from 1978 not 1999) one had me laughing at the part where one of the prisoners was shooing away the cameraman😂😂😂. And look at BSS now the cops and prisoners are all wimpy actors trying to act tough but they not, BSS now is trying so hard to act like their show is serious that you can't help but laugh at it.

I want to scare straight when I was a youth and it was Rahway Penitentiary in state of New Jersey. This was the early 90s there were no cameras and that’s exactly how the inmates act 🤔🤔Rahway present is the first one that showing on this video 😂😂😂
