I'm so mad. NO THIJS, YOU DON'T KEEP THE EVOLVE FOR ANOTHER CARD WHILE YOU HAVE THAT ON YOUR BOARD. This was such a no-brainer, literally any amount of minions with reborn would be absurd for him to deal with, and against the deck he was facing he 100% should have known not to keep it back.

To be more specific... The second worgen couldn't attack face not because "it's still got charge" (putting charge onto it was a goal here, otherwise it wouldn't have been able to go face either), but because it's under an enchantment (from the "Charge" spell) which blocks it from attacking face during the turn it comes onto the board. This IS the copy's first turn on the board (it turns out the turn counter isn't copied), and so it can't attack.

In my mind, the Firebat video shows -Battle rage's text- Charge's text (sorry :D) must be redone. The spell doesn't give charge but rush. There are a few cards like this that need to be corrected.

Nope. You're wrong(we won't speak about wrong card name. It's called charge btw) This card gives charge. It's like old 7/7 dino(I don't remember name) with charge. But for some strange reason copy of this card can't go face, even the spell was casted 2 turns before.

It used to give charge, hence the name, but was nerfed due to a worgen otk deck like in the video here. So atleast it used to make sense, though it would be nice if they updated their game more to make it clearer

Since a competitive deck build gets popular 3 weeks after the release of Ashes of Outland, with the acquisition of new cards that for some reason was not tested in the first days (like Corsair Cache).

(Sky) Pirates were the Warrior theme for Descent of Dragons and Galakrond’s Awakening, which led to it becoming an actual deck in Wild again. Ashes of Outland gave it a little more support in Corsair Cache, leading it to be good in Standard, too.

It's not back actually it never left the game in the past. It's just that side of the lowbie community who comes back to ruin ladders with aggro and leaves the game when they getting bored after the first week of every single new patch. This time they didn't leave in a week so I guess they're much more braindead than I imagined atm.

Because the card Charge says that the minion can't attack heroes "this turn" But since the second worgen got summoned that turn and only got the spell Charge that turn too it can't attack heroes Basically spaghetti code

@@akaliislifeakaliislove5968 because your life goes at/under 0. When you do an otk with a spells or minions. When the opponent die the effect of the minion or spell do stop. The fact that after his death the game didnt close and let an ability triggers is just something i dont agree with. When a players life goes to 0 or under the game is over. No ability should allow you to ignore this unless it is meant to be.

It's the same way it works with Bittertide Hydra dealing damage to yourself when it has Lifesteal; not that that means it's correct, but there is some precedent for you to be able to survive if you heal immediately.

the first turn when charge is casted, you cant hit face. Since the bloodsworn worgen is a freshly created minion unlike the maiev worgen, it cant hit face that turn

The effect of "Charge" was still active on the second worgen, which means that that turn he was summoned he still couldn't go face. The original worgen waited for two turns because of being dormant so he could attack normally.

Charge from the card is basically rush. So the second worgen had rush. Notice it was still green after the first attack, so it could attack another minion.

the warrior card 'charge' was changed a long time ago before 'rush' existed way back when the card allowed you to give a minion 'charge' which meant warrior face decks were oppressive, they nerfed the card by making it so minions buffed by this card couldn't hit face. after waking up from being 'dormant' the 'charge' buff had worn off and the worgen was considered in a 'normal' attack state, however the charge buff effect was active on the copy so when it killed the last minion on board it's attack cycle was over as it was prohibited from attacking face due to the charge buff effect.

Yeah that issue with copying a minion who has "charge" is a bug I experienced exactly when they changed charge to this version. Reported that bug so many times and it still is not fixed FU lazy blizz now that it is viral I hope it will get fixed finally

not sure if it was last year or the year before, basically Thjis had a massive swing turn where he thought it was impossible for his opponent to come back and at the end of his turn he said very nonchalantly 'your turn' expecting his opponent to either rope or quit, what happened was his opponent had an even crazier swing turn and killed Thjis next turn, it became a meme and this version is a slightly altered soundbite of that clip.

i think it a weird interaction ,that the copy worgen can't attack face. he play charge "give a minions charge but it can't attack face this turn" on the first worgen then dormant it to protect it. 2 turn later it awake and had charge so it can attack face. but then he bm opponent copy the worgen but the copy worgen is the worgen version 2 turn early so can't attack face. Hope it not too confusing.

swear to god the box is rigged. Back when yog was a thing he would be a dice roll between winning and fucking you over. The box is always in the casters favor. I've had a box who managed to clear my board, get 3 minions up for the opponent, draw him 4 cards and deal 15 dmg to my face.
