@@TonyBamboozle Having tried it at bronze in wild, I think it's actually pretty consistent in wild, mostly because you can tutor for it with witchwood piper, but it gets so utterly wrecked by cheap aoe it's never going to be meta in standard or wild

Also it's a card that's impossible to nerf because Innervate already was. They can't do anything to how much mana it gives or the cost obviously, and increasing the Overload means nothing.

One idea I heard from reddit is to change it to “refresh 2 mana” so that it does not exceed your current mana limit

lmao having a fast gameplay isn't a bad thing they are just increasing skill curve. its still a low slower than shadow verse, pokemon, yugioh or vanguard. and even gwent. in fact hearthstone is like one of the slowest tcg's in history they should seriously step up

Clearly not, Yu-Gi-Oh is a hard, slow and expensive as fuck, making a good deck in Yu-Gi-Oh will take you few weeks and a hundred $/€, hearthstone allow you to make a decent Meta deck for only 2k dust, and you can have these dust easily just by playing. Hearthstone will ever stay a simple dynamic card game.

@@ArgentTay I don't think he's reffering to the deck-building aspect of the game. I think he's talking more about how Hearthstone has devolved into "who can assemble their hyper-combo/one-turn-power-spike faster?" The game is very far-removed from its roots of minion-based combat and making many, calculated plays over the course of a match, and has now just turned into "Ah ha, I have drawn my deck's powerful cards, time to win."

Markmckz made a turn one otk in wild. This expansion was made for insane combos. Also after I saw the amount of aggro decks I decided not to play standard for a while and play arena instead.

Its funny to think that adding overload to the pre nerf innervate solves any of the problems it originally had. Like the whole positive is that you could gain 4 more mana on the same turn so you can whip out that 4 mana 7/7 boi, adding overload does not change that whatsoever, yes in future turns you may have less mana, but as you can see in the video you dont have another turn because you won.
