Mine did the same thing as soon as I put on (what became 'his') fine mist humidifier too - posed in the most gracefu, uprightl Sphynx pose inhaling deeply and blissfully. Within a day or two he'd add it to his "sacred nightly rituals" list. He's even called and dragge me over if needed to be turned on. We added a step style turn on feature and he took over from there. The look of bitter disappointment if the tank was empty left all of us scarred with guilt . Rightfully so!😂
Ive rescued dozens over the years, its so funny how they always got a unique personality 🤣🤣 i had one named Maui, but he only responded to "dickhead" fitting cause he was one 🤣
