The interviewr himself is "dengaye erass." Once he found out the interviewee wasn't skilled in English, he chose to ridicule him in English to make himself look smarter. In reality, he simply made himself look denkoro.
@@Lula124tube😂😂😂😂Why you guys are so f**n Soft and sensitive like a little girl😂😂😂 don't be a cry baby's! It's so funnier when U looked at Habesha peoples speaking English! 😂as a matters of fact's its okayed, beings speaking English ain't big deal's, the whole point is,if u don't speaking English why u guys act like you spoken this languages? Why not u speaking ur native languages😂😂😂 it's shame on top of that's so funniest moments specially to listening ur accented
😂😂😂😂😂you truly cracked me up😂😂😂😂Oh s***t! This hilariously so funnier than what's I expected! 😂😂😂you awesome bruh! I loved his broken English both of them😂😂😂😂
The same way if others have to be interviewed in another language it will be the same . It is not embracing not to speak another language ; but it is always good to know as many languages as possible
It is normal because they did not know the system of teaching English language how to talk but the students are very intelligent that we know they have done so many history.
Anbesa nachihu.....It's good to learn different languages but not a must. You can answer it on your native language. It is upto the Interviewer to find translater. Language is not knowledge. We are proud of you as always...
Hehehe english is the learning language in every Higher education so if he didn't know what was he listening to and how are someone qualified to graduate, I see a comment say "the guy is smart he just don't know english😅😅😅😅😅
Don't make graduate students unworthy of being students. The ability of speaking a language isn't always necessarily can't be the measurement of one's intelligent/knowledge. Moreover, it's wise to decrease your great expectation from graduate students. 🎓 The world education system shouldn't only be the first and last way of learning a language!!!
Since Ethiopians are at the top in marathon i believe the sport federation should do more to better prepare its athletes in English language so they can better communicate during interview to their respective fans or those who enjoy marathon in general.
English doesn't show our identity rather it's European language. As Ethiopian we're proud of our language and our identity. Communicating fluent English have no connection with their intelligent and capable of doing things
Kenenosa was a killer always funny. When the English gets hard he turned his face to Gelete to distract the interviewer and started talking about Gelete. ohhh every time it cracks me! God bless kenenisa he is a comedian
Do you think he did it for fun or to distract the interviewer? Not really. He can't control his emotion about what happened on the other athlete. He did it unconsciously. Patriotism at its best.
The sports commission should think about this ahead of time. They should assign someone to translate for them.it's not a big deal for the atlets. But on the other hand I am always so impressed about Eritran atlets. they are fluent when they speak English. That been said, what really SHOCKED me is the university graduate!!!😮😮😮 Now i know exactly why BERHANU NEGA made that decision.!!!
You can see the difference the person who is educated and not at least a student from the university. He can fully understand what is he’s been asking the marathon people they don’t understand what they’ve been asking even.
Only in Ethiopia the measure of knowlede is determined by the ability to speak a foreigne language specially Engilish. If the country would have focused on teaching its kids with their own native languages rather than with languages that they have little fluency, we would have lots of scientists, engineers and intelctuals like the Chinese,Japanese and Koreans who chose to teach their kids in their own native languages. Our disfunctional education system which forces students to think and analyze knowledge and ideas in foreign languages, robes them a free and unrestricrted mind voyage which is very crucial for deep understanding and learning. That is way we see lot of people whom we think educated struggles to speak a foriegne language to immpress others and taken as Educated rather than acomplishing real knowledge objectives.
Why are you laughing if someone doesn't speak English? These guys are smart enough to do the unthinkable. The person conducting the interview should have prepared a translator.
Most citizens of Europe countries like France ,German…don’t speak English because they use their own language so it is not a big deal if our people unable to speak English. Africa could be a better continent if we hadn’t use English at all. Let’s respect our language.
That is so embarrassing for Ethiopian university and Government 😡 People are dying in the hospital without getting proper diagnosis and treatments, also their is corruption everywhere.
Brother, kindly, stop ridiculing (Particularly on the graduating classes)! For Ethiopians, English is a second/third/fourth... language. This person is really brilliant in my attitude as he did his best to express his ideas and feelings. Once you note that this person needs more practice and effort to improve his language proficiency, why do you bring his speech to the public? Why don't you help him personally so that he could enhance his skill? Do you know what you are doing, brother? In addition, being proficient in English is not the sign of modernity or the measurement of an Ethiopian individual's knowledge! Regards, Samson, English teacher
As an educated person, as a teacher & as a comment writer I really appreciate ur beautiful words on ur comment if this guy( the youtuber or the socalled interviewer) learn from his mistake. Tnx dear🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Berhanu Nega, may you succeed. Both teachers and students need retraining at least at the college level. As for the sports, runners interview that wasn’t fair, interviewer asking in their own language with accent and the interviewee attempting to express their feelings didn’t amaze me as the first part, college interview.
english language speakers who can not speak amharic languages we do not said they are lazy mans. But our educated citizens who speak english we appreciate their potential . We are give more attention for english language speakers than amharic language speakers . so we are colonoiized in our mental setup.
The interviewer need to be proud of his people instead of making fun of them. Any language is just a means of communication it's neither a measure of their knowledge nor their strength.
Those who are saying English is not a big deal, he an university graduated and I believe in Ethiopian. University they don't teach only in amharic. So if he doesn't speak in English it means he doesn't understand what he studied. For example if he graduated as a doctor and he doesn't understand what he studied in English. It will cost peoples life
He understand the question , but he is not able to answer in English which means the english subject is not his favorite subject , but it doesn't mean he is not good at the other subjects such as mathematics , physics , chemistry , biology etc. Language has its own sophistication so don't try to put him down ...
