Funny Exhaust Competition Part 2, Umass Car Show 2015 Any commentary or remarks heard in this video are from spectators standing next to my camera and not from me.
"its an automatic!!" well little kid who still does not have pubic hair, driving a 700hp+ car in manual is fucking hard and gets boring in traffic. some of the quickest supra's are auto.
Gabriel Guzman that is a sign that the car most *likely had a check engine light and is running too rich for the cats to burn the unburned hydrocarbons
"It's an automatic! what a loser" OMG automatics are great, they let the driver think about other things! but manuals ARE a little more involving and nicer to use...
That's why automatics can be bad. Shouldn't the driver only be thinking about driving? So you know, they won't crash. Or die. Automatics make texting and driving a lot easier
What I mean by think of other things is that if you're a person with a terrible attention span, you could destroy a manual. An auto just fits for everyone. A manual owner can drive an auto immediately, but an auto owner is likely to destroy a manual. But I gotta say, as a minor, i can't choose for now, but in one year's time at the age of 18, i'll definitely choose a manual.
PocketWow it's hard to destroy a manual, you can fry a clutch or shatter the plate/pressure plate/throw out by dropping the clutch. Now automatics today are extremely fast shifting but you have to realize they ate a big pump that wears out much faster than plain old gears and much much more to rebuild now. Hell even older autos are expensive to rebuild. Autos can overheat , planetaries and bands wear. Valve bodies wear fluid passages out. Theres so many springs and check valves that wear /break and new dual clutches are e en more complicated. I'd take a manual and clutch any day. But for drag racing today it's hard to beat a dual clutch auto.
Yea I thought I was going to lose to the red supra then I found out I won. No Trophies for loudest exhaust though just an interview and bragging rights.
i don't get the use of the word funny in the title... i was expecting inner tubes and coffee cans but is that ratrod using a driveshaft as exhaust pipe?
m2350 Tyler Kellogg , I own a 1991 Dodge Daytona. It has a mitsubishi engine, (6g72) but as usual dodge cant do a car right. In turn, the 91 models had terrible solder points on the gauge cluster, in turn my tach will not work at times, and replacing the rear torsion bar, none of the cross-members aligned properly, forcing me to place hundreds of pounds of pressure via a cylinder jack from an old ford truck, and a 4 foot prybar.
_Husky They should have never made the Daytona front wheel drive. It would have made more sense to release it as rwd v8 in that platform to compete with the fox bodys and Camaros. Even keeping the 4 cylinder would have been cool as a limited run like the mustang svo.
actually the only thing gay is your honda and every other ricer at that show. all the "stance" cars and all the hondas with exhaust on there grocery getter economy cars. only retards think hondas are "fast" and "cool"
Was there a blue irocz camaro and a gray 300zx z32 there? My buddies did the competition but I don't remember what show it was. Though it was recently.
Lol these kids, sayin "not bad!" "Pretty good!" "Not too shabby!" To all the civics, rsxs(which aren't horrible cars but compared to a lot of me here) and stuff that's not too great but anything exotic comes up or with bright colors they yell "turbo!" Or "oh this'll be good/loud"
0:32 she's the winner to me I'm not a ricer kind of guy I'm diesel all the way thru and 6.0 is my favorite she was quite compared to how loud you can get those trucks
+Jarryn Smith there r different variations of variable controller. vtec, vtc and ivtec. I think the old vtecs had only specific rmp acknowledgements. ivtec is standardized in every vtec car now, ivtec adjusts the valve opening times as well as how many intake and exhaust valves should be used. i think the car used in this video features the old vtec technology so it's not right to say that just bcos one car's vtec kicks in so all engines will accomplish the same result.
I was expecting that mustang to be louder I have a 67 with a 390 in it and we get people asking what it is from down the road when I start it up. it is coming from just headers though
There's no replacement for displacement, and I saw none of that here, at least in the first 6 minutes. But better kids doing this than playing on i pads.
