"some random clips shot on Steve's cam whilst on tour in 1982"
I apologize for the cursor at the beginning. There was no way to download it, so I had to use Snipping Tool.

These guys were awesome musicians and great to see them as they naturally were and are (RIP dear Mick). It's so unfair that Steve Jansen is so good looking!

@@jackcimino8822 I still struggle to believe that it's not Sullivan singing on the original Dolphin Brothers version of "My winter". Regarding Sullivan no longer being able to sing; he had never sounded so much like himself as on recent releases such as "If I should dare" and "Do you know me now".

@@MisAnnThorpe Jansen did a good job singing for the Dolphin Brothers album. If Sylvian was singing it, I think the voice would sound a bit deeper like in the Buoy song. The Dolphin Brothers didn't accept any contributions from Sylvian or Karn anyway. If you want someone who sounds more like Sylvian, check out Ingo Ito (Bamboo Industry - Hypnotized). Iva Davies (Icehouse - Hey Little Girl) and Kurt Feldman (Ice Choir - I Want You Now and Always) come close too.

@@jackcimino8822 Iva Davies sounds like Sulvian because like Sulvian, he was insecure with regards to his own singing voice and decided he would disguise that by singing like Bryan Ferry. I am well aware that it wasn't Sulvian that sung on "My winter", but it might as well've been. There is NO ONE who sounds more like Sulvian than Jensen. although as I said in my earlier comment; Sulvian finally found his own voice. I played "Do you know me now" to a friend and he didn't even recognise it as being Sulvian's voice! Apologies if I come across as a bit of an opinionated prat but I'm something of an opinionated prat!

@@MisAnnThorpe I think his voice is different in "Do You Know Me Now?" because of how much his vocal cords have aged and been worn out. I can still hear a tinge of Sylvian in it.

How cute and funny they are! Such videos are sorely lacking😢 And Mr. Sylvian, as always, is a little introvert😅

It has been said that Japan were the band who left their synth equipment in the studio later used by Tubeway army, hence springboarding Numan's electro pop career.

@@martinwood744 Really? I like to know more! I thought Richard Barbieri still used a couple of the synths like the Roland modular in his 2000s solo albums. And on his RU-vid channel, he has a very retro-sounding demo of the Prophet 5 Rev 4!
