I've been owned by dachshunds for the last 27 years. I've had as many as 8 at one time, none of whom were related. I never let them have puppies because I knew I would keep them all. I lost my Izzy in October. She was my soulmate. I had a portrait of her tattooed on my chest, just above my heart. I just love those little dogs so much! Thank you for sharing yours!

I lost my boy in December of 2021 . Absolutely heartbroken......... this is the first time I have been able to watch a doxy video and I am now starting to tear up. Walter was a standard black and tan wiennie . He was the love of my life. Pretty sure I will never get over the loss.

I had a family or 4 the pop the mom and 2 puppy's. I loved them all and each one had their own personally. They love to dig after anything that lived in the ground. Some of my best memories was of their digging. All of them have passed on now and I miss them so much.

We just got our new addition to our family of Fur kids. A puppy Dachshund❤️thru the years we’ve had many different breeds. But there is something very special about them. Her name is Maddie, she is loving, kind, smart and stubborn lol. I wish we could afford to breed her, she will turn 6 months in December. We have Grandma, Mama, daughter and son (5 months old) in the house . They all get along pretty well, Grandma keeps everyone in line. My sons tried to potty train the pups to outside, but they followed suit to Grandma and Mom, and go on pee pads...most of the time!

I believe they are the BEST BREED EVER. . We had over 9 at one time. Or another. We have only 1 Now, & She is paper trained. That is one of the best things I wish all dozier could be paper trained. She only goes in 1 area of the House when she has to go potty.

I lost my two Doxies which were my female Black and Tan in September 2020 16.5 years old, and my male red one that passed at age 18 years and 2 months old April 1 this year and my husband and I are so lost. They went everywhere with us locally and on our long travels. We know we will never replace them by no means but we enjoy Doxies so much that we pick up our 2 puppies who are 8 weeks old on Monday. We are both so excited. They are brother and sister. A female that is chocolate based and cream and a male that is a cream piebald with light chocolate base. I wish I could post their photos on here!! They are so gorgeous!! This video warmed my ❤️ and anyone who owns a Doxie or once had a Doxie knows the love they share with their owners. They are truly unmatched with unconditional love, loyalty and true companionship. Our home has not been the same without those sounds of their little feet pitter pattering on the floor and their barks and howls and all the funny things they do. They brought to us many years of pure joy and at the end great grief but we talk about all the good times. It will be bittersweet tomorrow when we pick up our new additions to our family ❤️❤️
