Actually I'm pretty sure Achilles was dipped into that and he was held by his heel so his heel was the part that was most dangerous to him so yeah that's how he died
@@whataweirdo5062 yep the achilles heel is a metaphor for a weakness when everything else about something is invincible. he was held by his mother thetis. percy was held by the thought of annabeth.
We were doing greek mythology in class and i knew what the lesson was about and didnt listen. So when the teacher said, " What were we just talking about?" I told her the whole story and she hadnt even told us about it yet. Now all of my mates call me a greek geek.

That doesn't happen with me but now in online classes we have started Shakespeare's plays which have a lot of Greek and roman references. So when the teacher reaches there I text my friends all the info about it. They r pretty much used to it by now.

I miss reading Percy Jackson and becoming obsessed with it for the first time. It feels like forever ago now, the fandom is all grown up, and we’ve moved on.
