Gosh! You’re a master of sharp observation! I literally saw the players there! It gave me so much laughter to hear the voices! This was sooo good!! I hope they posted it on Tennis United soon! Thiem, Nadal and Kyrgios were my favorites
Stelios Gkontsaris Hey man, I was going to suggest something similar to this on my initial post, but saw how much traction your video was gaining on it’s own. I am friendly with former US Open chair umpire Cecil Hollins, I’ve worked with former President, Chairperson and CEO of the USTA and US Open (Katrina Adams) and have friends who are in contact with current tour player Noah Rubin. Let’s see if we can get you the publicity you deserve... Whether your video gets picked up by ATP Tennis TV or you get an opportunity to perform your impressions in-person at this year’s US Open, your work deserves to be seen.
Agree. The kinda lunatic expression on the face at the beginning, the sidewards armmovement after the service and than slipping away getting a drop shot. Beyond epic.
The exaggeration on Thiem’s backhand preparation and then the swing is fantastic 🤣🤣🤣 And you studied your countryman Tsitsi so well, even the looks at the racket in between the points are there 👌 And then even Stan’s shoulder movement and t-shirt pull after he wins the point 🎉🙌
Yea, Novak’s 29 bounces would have been hilarious! Murray, awesome, Wawrinka, great backhand, Thief, that backhand, ouch, Nadal, could have switched hands, ..
Most tennis fans say Djokovic doesn’t have nuances, but you, Stelios, expose them all together! Amazing: - his stance and how he gets ready for a return, - his quick yawning to relax face muscles, - the way he asks for a towel from a ballgirl/boy, - his facial expressions, - how much he lays on his right foot when hitting a backhand, - the little (almost unnoticeable) jumps , - how he keeps his racket perfectly in the middle when waiting for a serve, - his reaffirming face gesture when he knows hie got a nice point - how balanced he is when hitting a quick backhand (how he freezes for a millisecond on that movement) Very well done, from a Novak fan! Greetings from Peru!
only thing missing is the uncontrollable diva movements or stumbles after hitting the ball when he misses sometimes, acting like there was a weird bounce or something
@@debmalyadutta4756 Gasquets bh technique is very different to Thiem's.Thiems take back of the racket with a totally streched arm is quite unique compared to all the other single bhanders. It was spot on :)
I come back to this video on a regular basis, just to enjoy the insane accuracy. It is down to the grunt (Thiem, LOL!). This is some unbelievable work.
I never thought perfect impersonation was possible. I was proven wrong, this is genuinely mind blowing. The facial expressions, the walking, the postures, the grunts, you captured every single detail to perfection. And Wawrinka and Murray are beyond perfection. Not even they can impersonate themselves that good. Congrats, mate, amazing stuff!
Until Kyrgios I was smiling. From Kyrgios had me on the floor laughing and with Thiem I almost pee myself lol loved the effort and perfection you put into all the players 💪 thank you ❤
0:00 Andy Murray 0:18 Novak Djokovic 0:57 Roger Federer 1:37 Stanislas Wawrinka 2:14 Rafael Nadal 3:07 Nick Kyrgios 3:51 Stefanos Tsitsipas 4:41 Juan Martin Del Potro 5:27 Dominic Thiem
Absolutely the most spot on impressions I have ever seen in tennis. You had me laughing all the way through because of how close to the grain you came. 10/10 perfect for everyone you imitated. What incredibly deep insight and dedication put into each quirk.
This is truly outstanding. It takes a very observant person and talented player to distinguish these nuances. There’s something about Stan at 1:44 that is absolutely perfect and if I saw that alone, without any context, I would say it was him.
The subtleties are the difficult part, yet you capture so much. One example is the slight peacock-like gait of Wawrinka, almost like he's too conscious about how he is being perceived, like he wants to be alluring out on the court. Another is the way you make Tsitsipas pace forward and backward with his mouth agape. And the Kyrgios tweener just out of the blue for showmanship. Too good.
Ridiculously good. Uncanny. Even the grunts haha! The faces! The way they hold their racquets. You even had Tsitsipas's eastern/semi-western right! You have a talent my friend.
My GOD..... soooooo GOOD..... SOOOOO FUNNY, I laughed soooo much. this is great imitation.... I am sure that if the players see their imitation, they will smile a lot.
Those are not just impersonations. This video is also a master class for every tennis enthusiast, specially beginners. In tennis, it's all about footwork and if I were a tennis coach, first assignment before learning the basics would be: "watch the impersonations video on you tube then record yourself while simulating the guy on it". Most fun 1st tennis class ever. You're welcome Tennis coaches out there.
That Kyrgios killed me, especially how he walks. The Thiem one buried me. Really, really good, all of them. My small Nadal impression does not compare with your level here.
This is so accurate its crazy. Absolutely hilarious. Came into this video expecting the usual half assed over exaggerated impersonation. But you totally nailed them. Amazing!
Dude, Nick brought tears to my eyes! 🤣 If I weren't looking at the screen when you did Rafa's and Thiem's voices, I would've sworn it was actually them playing. Remarkable subtlety in every characterization you did. Just genius! 👏
I have to say.... the impressions are spot on! The little nuances, such as Djokovic flipping his racquet while bouncing ball before serve and Wawrinka pointing to his head after point. Excellent!
Hard to pick a favorite. Murray's moan for drop shot, Thiem's tiptoeing, Kyrgios posture, Delpo's sloth walk, ... even Tsitsipas who doesn't have any distinguishing feature is very recognizable. That's deep imitation! A Djoker applause for you.
