Best tips, coming from my cousin who does cosmetology: 1. Wet your hair and don't add any product, best to cut natural. 2. NEVER cut straight across like that girl did. The best way to do it so the ends aren't blunt is to take the blades, press like you're going to cut through paper, but don't fully cut, and pull down off the hair. It pulls away smaller bits so if you mess up its fixable 3. Cut below the hair tie, not above, and make sure you section it as even as possible. Also cut shorter than you think you want it. You can take hair off but you add it back right away
