Lying to management about having kids? Why? Last time I asked to leave early because my kid was sick I was told I needed to rethink my priorities and find somebody else. He got really upset when I quit.

@10:00. Yes, I've quit several jobs that were ruining my mental health. I am a Boomer and the only time I've changed jobs was for that very reason. Toxic workplaces have always been around. They are not a Boomer invention. But I DO admire the younger generation (I don't know what they call themselves. They would be 20-24 years old right now). They realize work is a rip off, that they are worth more than crap pay, and there is more to life than work, ( much like when we were hippies) yet they are smart and given the right environment are the best workers I've seen......

A big shot from out of state would come in every few months. Would have to sit in a windowless, stuffy conference room with zero ventilation. This guy spoke in a 2 MPH drawl, took 20 minutes to say something which could've been said in 2, took another hour or so to REPEAT everything, sweated, stank, and talked loudly non stop out of the meeting in the hallway. Would be trying to catch up on work missed cuz of the colossal waste of time, watching my brown nose boss toady up to this jerk. The jerk would also bother us, and talked while you were WORKING, and pout like a 4 year old if not constantly entertained. I finally got OUT of there.

As a woman, I can assure that they are always like this. They are just dreamers, far from reality, and thus always complaining about their dreams's not coming true. They want the queen's life, no work. They want a job with high salary, easy, too much holidays, and less working hours and days as a present, don't want to spend any efford to get a job. There are jobs like that but you have to work decades to get to that grade. They have a child while they cannot look after themselves. They have more than one children while they cannot look after only one child. While working and looking after children being too tiring, they want to be stay-at-home mom. While they are doing it, they again complain about staying at home. What they want are to have children just to please community, someone giving money, hiring someone to look after children, sending them somewhere to learn something, and finding someone to help her to find what to do to get rid of her boredom. If they reach that point, they still find something to complain about. Nothing can make them satisfied.
