i think the furby connect's personality changes gradually from one to another over the course of a year although the voice and the eye color stay the same
the furby connect's antenna glows different colors to mean something it flashes yellow while it is waking up it flashes red once when it says or sings something about a video/song from the furby connect world app it flashes red multiple times when you tickle the furby connect it flashes green when you pull the tail and keep pulling it making the furby connect fart it glows blue when there is an update available for the furby connect or if there is a new video/song on the furby connect world app it flashes blue while the furby connect is going to sleep the antenna also lights up every other color in the rainbow if you mess with it and move it around and press it
another comparison ^^: The symbols on their forheads are different, the furby connects is pointing up and is more round and the bottom, while the boom crystal is more to the left and since it has a face plate it has ben covered up a bit at the bottom, meaning it is not round there. (you didn't say that part so i added that in ^^)
the newer hatchimals called hatchibabies have a opening and closing beak that acts like a furby's beak (you even put the bottle in his/her beak to feed him/her and they stay babies forever so you don't have to grow it into a toddler and kid stage like all the other hatchimals models (the original hatchimals, hatchimals suprise, hatchimals glittering garden, hatchimals fabula forest and hatchimals mystery)
a furby youtuber (her youtube name is ?) has discovered a furby connect glitch/trick where if you interact with the antenna for 30 consecutive seconds without doing anything else (even letting go of the antenna) the furby connect will suddenly shut off and reset itself so this is sort of useful if you dont want to open the battery compartment to reset the furby connect
if a 1998 furby has low batteries it will sound weird and sometimes it will stop speaking gibberish and start making a tone if a 2012-2015 furby has low batteries it will sound close to normal except it is trippy and it moves really slowly if a furby connect has low batteries it won't talk or move but the eyes will still be lit and even though you can't open the eyelids manually you can see the eyes moving around and changing into other things
for the 2005/2006 furby it isn't as funny as the 90s furbies because they just click and then reset themselves although they may make a tone but not often
My daughter has a furby connect, I just ordered her the crystal furby but the small baby one, can they talk with each other at all or communicate? Or would I have to get her the big furby crystal like this one to communicate with the baby one?
I'm also curious if they make eyes color random on later series - IMO that would be a really cool addition. Or maybe way to set them? And what's with Cheerliding? xD
Yes he/she does laugh when you touch the tummy but no, the 2016 has only one personality and I like that better than the personality changing all the time which is why I like the 2016 best.
It can't change from evil to nice. Yes you can talk to each other. I'm not sure as the Furby understands our speech but Furby will ask you to do things to it like squeeze or shake it.
I have a FurbyBoom that stopped working about a year ago, after about 3 years of having it. I tried giving it new batteries, taking them out and putting them back in... but nothing would work. Before it went dead, the eyes would go black, or it would stop making sound for a moment, while it was still moving. its voice would also turn very robotic and creepy at times. this went on for a while before it just stopped working. Is three years a normal amount of time before it stops working? Or did I somehow murder May - Doo? Is there anyway to fix this? Please help!
does the furby connect drain batteries faster than the furbies with lcd eyes? my guess is yes because the furby connect has a computer in its head that has to load eye animations that are in color and color lcd screens use more battery power than black and white lcd screens and although the computer of previous furbies has to load more rapid eye animations, black and white lcd screens dont use very much battery power
The Crystal has different personalities that change according to how you treat it. It has five personalities. The Connect moves more and interacts more with its app, which gets updates and allows the Furby to learn new songs and skits. However, it only remembers them while they stay on the app. This does keep it fresh but at the same time makes it a bit app reliant. However, both can be enjoyed without their apps. I would say the Connect is more fun but only because I'm not so keen on something that changes personality so much.
I really want a furby crystal, but I'm finding it very difficult to find one :( do you know where I could order one? Seems like they're hard to find now here in the US.
Sadly, not YET. But, The Furby Connect updates itself when it's connected to Bluetooth. They will add personalities in a while. We just have to wait...
the mark on the furby's forehead is like the sun; on the 2012 furby it is barely visible, on the furby boom it is rising upwards and on the furby conenct it is fully visible

Personally, I think the Boom and Crystal series look better because they don't have light bulbs on the head. But in terms of the performance of the toy, the Furby Connect is better.
My Furby Crystal doesn’t connect to the game, is it because you need the new one? Because a phew years ago my furby crystal worked on some app I’m not sure how it’s not working now
That's odd, it should still work. I know the app isn't available on new devices anymore but if you have it, there's no reason why Furby doesn't connect to it. The crystal connects to the Furby Boom app. It won't connect to Furby Connect World though. Furby Boom app is the one that you can't get on newer devices.
Do you know the time you told us how to put your Furby asleep without putting your marks on Well you can’t do that with the Furby boom right because he doesn’t have an antenna we need to hold the Internet for years five seconds have to duck trying to put a staple in sleep mask if you even have one
