You can also check Neuvi’s voice line about Furina. He said he MUST go and see if Furina ever performs again, and he gave her the vision as the highest applause.
@@johanndysen4924 its not fully revealed just hinted its personal desire + "something else" by raiden and Yae speaks about ambitions but Raiden explained quite clearly it has nothing to do with archons will .... and she should know alot about them considering she can take visions from people or block them do who knows ... maybe its some natural proces and celestia just steal credit :D "Really? So in all this time, no new Electro Visions have appeared in the outside world? Well, what I can say on this topic is subject to certain constraints, but... it is not by my will that Visions are granted or denied. The key is people's desire, and... well, there's another side to it too."
This is a great first step for Furina. I hope she gets a second story chapter that helps her become more of the fun-loving girl we know she can be, that chases after cats in the street and plays with cute water familiars she gave silly names
She is the avatar of an archon, therefore she will have a second archon quest. Zhongli had 2, Raiden had 2, Nahida had 2. As for Nahida, she is also just an avatar of an archon, but with the divine powers and life. It is safe to say that they really tried to make Furina enjoyable for everyone and will be sure to expand her story, as well as make at least another act of her story quest
@@xue8196 From what i understand, the Visions usually *are* delivered by the Archons, but under Celestia's orders/supervision. However, as a Dragon Sovereign, Neuvilette gets to do whatever he wants in terms of granting Visions.
I’ve watched your reactions to both Neuvillette and Furina’s story quest like multiple times. The quests are great and your reactions are amazing! Furina’s song truly felt like a farewell to Fontaine’s main story. What a great nation this was!
there's that one Female NPC at the Fountain of Lucine who crazy about Furina. she get a new and different dialog after the act 5 of the Archon quest of Fontaine. To me that NPC is the best example of trust. i don't wanna spoil what she says but you could check her out if interested ofc.
Neuvillette awarded Furina with her Vision during her performance and Furina awarded me with her presence after her fantastic story quest. I will cherish this precious gift as I journey together with her in the coming nations 😊
Mind you he doesn't consciously hand them out. Neither do the archons They just set aside some power.those with strong wishes can lay claim to some of it.
i was write it aswell because lots of ppl dont get that neuvi overtook the dutys of the archon. if he hand them out on person or if it happen without he even realizing it doesnt matter tbh i just like the touch hoyo creating there between neuvi and furina. sadly he wasnt on the set in the opera i searched around and didnt find him even he says that he want to watch furinas performance. idk if hoyo overlooked that detail but this would be awesome if he was actually there
@@xavierlynch1088 Well, Neuvillette thouroughly explained how the vision grants work. It is essentially archons pressured by Celestia to adhere to wishes of those people. But Neuvillette says he does not follow that, and he will never follow something the heavenly principles set as a rule. I can see as to that he possibly does not know when or how the person receives his vision, but it is bound to happen at some point. She got it right after she essentially got her life back together.
@@xavierlynch1088 Again, that is not true. When Neuvillette got his full sovereing form, he received information he did not know before. It is a rule estabilished by Celestia's idea of order in the world "From that day on, whenever a person's wishes reached the heavens, the seven overseers of material realm were duty-bound to them a gift". It is mentioned that the archons do not know what gift will that person receive, but they will receive a gift. It also says "Neuvillette obeys no eredict from the heavens, but he does acknowledge human will. So he too set aside parts of himself, as like unto the dragon-treasure hoards of old, awaitng valiant humans to come and claim them." Although it does not clearly specify that these forms of powers are his visions, it clearly says he IS himself, on HIS own giving parts of his power to the humans. He does not know when and what point, but they will receive it.
I felt so empty after the archon quest, that she just leave her be and 500 serving the nation as a hydro archon. Not even granted a vision. And then this quest ending happened, granted her a vision. That was so beautiful. I have watched her archon quest like 8 times now and still get emotional
It is incredibly easy for a God to walk among Humans, but unspeakably hard for a Human to walk among Gods. I do not know if you have listened to the voice lines when it comes to all of the Archons in regards to Furina, but Furina has basically achieved every single one of their acts: Contracts, Will, Wisdom, and finally; the ability of doing what she did and changing Teyvat's outcome (saving the world) through her ability to act. I slowly began to fall in love with Furina, but after 4.2 and now her Archon quest; I can easily say I have fallen for her all over again. Furina will ALWAYS be my "Little Hydro Archon". 😊
never have i cried harder at an archon quest + story quest than i did with Fontaine and Furina. i relate to her so much (including the love for performing/theatrics) and feel so attached to the point where i gave up my guaranteed Navia to pull for her 😂😭 stumbled upon your video in my recommended and i love your vibe, so i had to subscribe!
if only there was a Yun Jin hangout event where she trains Paimon to sing opera .. then Paimon could have been in the musical too. ps: Furina theory: i feel the protection of Fontaine was _directly_ related to Furina's ability to maintain her facade of Hydro Archon (even tho she was unknowingly Hydro Archon but self-deceived into believing she was faking it). The breakdown of Furina's facade would be the breakdown of Fontaine's protection. Poisson flooded because she partially broke down with tears in the interview with the woman (that Traveller observed). The whale broke through due to the complete collapse of confidence in Furina.
Not very likely, but I do hope Furina will join us when we meet Dainsleif. The two are quite similar since they have suffered curses for many many years.
The ironic thing is that Furina is way more mentally stronger than Dain. While the dude is starting to suffer memory issues, Furina's sheer-will is what made her unwavering to save Fountaine. Maybe he can learn something from her.
maybe they dont meet because tbh the quest w dain are fully seperated from all other things i think beside of barbara non of the chars was used in the dains quests they been focused fully on the sibling (mondstadt - reunion only barbara, liyue chasmn, sumeru calibert that was basicly the whole quest a flashback) but we get a 2nd story quest for sure late 4.x to intruduce the 2nd weekly boss (zhong-ashtaha, raiden-guardian, nahida- apep only venti didnt have it because it was in release and the 2nd boss was allready there)
Paimon being even extremely rude to venti and itto and some other as well and yall dun bother with it, why is it now? if u want to play a fair card, none of them deserve that kind of treatment too, is just the paimon as usual, pls dun be too overreacting for that.
@@1989encoreyou’re all proving that we should be angry at Paimon in the past, not that we shouldn’t be mad at Paimon now. Which, by the way, is already the case. Paimon is already hated by several players prior this quest. Just so happens the she managed to irk us AGAIN.
@@1989encorebecause they didn’t suffer like Furina did. It was funny to watch her be mean to them casue it wa small jokes but furina set boundaries for herself to make sure she didn’t go to how she was and paimon was pushing those boundaries and just being straight rude to someone who just got out of 500 of pure torture🧍♀️
just a playful banter between friends, y'all need to chill, y'all just overly react to these kind of things, this game are full of fragile weebs who doesn't understand a joke and a playful silly things, paimon is just trying to cheer her up, paimon is already overhate by every player, and yep every time she spoke the player just blindly act like twitter comments towards her. y'all think furina is that weak? no. some insult from someone wouldn't hurt her, her pain for 500 years is way way worse, and yeah she truly needs someone to confide in. y'all think like furina needs a hug but too bad she is a prideful person, i doubt she want to looked at with pity, unless you are the traveler she will regard you as a freak cause hugging her outta nowhere lmao, why the genshin community are full of delusional weebs, so cringe, we as a player didn't know any better than the character in ''their 2d world'' we just can speculate, and genshin community are so sooo delusional, they dont want their new favorite character to be disrespected like that. honestly tho traveler and paimon just want to cheer her up to not get drowned in sadness.. that is what they actually trying to say in this quest.. at least for me.
Furina getting a vision is no simple matter. Remember there is no Hydro Archon, no Gnosis, No Hydro Throne. So Neuvillette is likely the one gave it and did it in front of ppl to announce her as Hydro Archon. Or it could be a twisted plot by Celestia
I can't wait for more appearances from Furina! She has a world of oppirtunities to grow and become her own person! I liked the way she achieved her Vision. Hydro wielders, I've noticed, seem to be unanimously characterized by their ability to pursue their "ambition" with a personality as flexible as water. It reminds me of the endurance that seems to characterize Geo characters, but less in a manner that weathers hardships and rather adapts to them advantageously (seriously, look at all the hydro characters and you'd be surprised about how consistent and central this trait is to the respective Vision holders). In this vein, Furina discovered her ambition whilst returning to the role of actress. I find it powerful, because her masquerade was a source of so much pain and trauma that you'd think every moment playing Focalors was misery to her. In truth, there WERE spots of joy, crowned chief among them by Furina's adoration of the arts, being part of a group, seeing the human element and experiencing it through the lives of others. None of these things had anything to do with Furina's 500 years of torture, because they were also the moments where she actively forgot about them without even trying. I think that, on a psychological level, acting could be a form of therapy for now because it helps Furina become someone other than "Furina," who even now is haunted by her scars. I like to think that in the future, Furina will put on a play dramatizing her life as the Hydro Archon. I sincerely see this happening and i believe it will be that catharsis both for her and the audience that we're all looking for - all of Fontaine will weep and cheer, and her life story will be immortalized forever in theater. I'm excited for her possibilities. She rapidly climbed to the top of my favorites for how well-rounded she is as of now. Rumor has it (no story spoilers) that 4.3's event will be a Fontaine/Inazuma one! Don't get your hopes up for any Ei involvement, sadly, but Furina is probably going to make many new friends in Yoimiya and the Kamisatos! I'm excited for more of Furina seriously lol
Idk if you have Neuvillette, but you can look up the Vision section of his character story in the profile to see what's going on with hydro visions. :) Love Furina, Furina and Focalors has become my number one archon and dethroned Raiden Ei for me.
Not spoiling anything in the title/thumbnail? Thank you!! I just started watching you and love your genuine hype. I screamed no less than 7 times during the AQ, LOL
In case no ones posted it, "allons-y" is French for "let's go" And it's one of the catchphrases of the 10th Doctor in Doctor Who. The actor was David Tennant.
@ennieee When the Hydro Dragon cries from sadness, rain blankets Fontaine. When the Hydro Dragon cries from happiness, a Hydro Vision descends from the Heavens for a worthy wielder. Also, it would not surprise me if the dissolution effect was actually pre-empted and replaced by Neuvillette when he gave Furina her Vision. I could see him being like, "This performance deserves a REAL Hydro Dissolution Effect. And I AM giving her a Vision... oh what the heck..." Also also, I don't know if you're aware, but all the voiced dialogue for all the Character Story Quests are saved in the "Archive" under "Travel Log." There are actually two tabs under "Travel Log." The first tab, which is the default when you go in there, contains all the Archon Quests (so yes, if you ever want to revisit ANY of the spoken dialogue from ANY of the Archon Quests, it's all there). The second tab contains all the Character Story Quests. So you can go back revisit any spoken dialogue you accidentally skipped over, like that one line you accidentally skipped in this quest (Furina's Story Quest). Lastly, if you're not aware, Hoyoverse actually recorded a full Music Video for "La Vaguelette" (the song Furina sings) with the actor that sings it in the game. It's a gorgeous music video. There's also a "Making Of" video for that Music Video as well. Both are on the Genshin RU-vid Channel. If you haven't seen them yet, any chance we get you to react to, at least, the Music Video?
No cause the way Neuvillette sounded so genuinely happy for her 🥹 Also, idk if anyone managed to read his character story, but it states (I’m paraphrasing) that he’s better able to express the kindness in his heart with the Melusines in the form of fatherly love 😭
wasnt it the all knowing Zhongli that once said that the vision is like a contract that comes from celestia? that once you have it you have to fulfill the duty and that every duty comes with a price...or something along that line? Howevevr since Furinas vision came form Nuvillet, it seem (and this is just my openion) that this vision is like an actual gift rather then responsibility for all that she has been through. Her desire has menifested as a gift and freedom to use it as she wishes. Although, (once again just my perspective) I feel that, since the heavenly principle was deceived will they have vengeance? is another nail about to hit teyvet?...feels like there could be some kind of chaos about to happen. And perhaps we might see Nuvellet at it full glory, who knows lol. Anyways, this is just imagination, it might not even happen anything lol.
I'd honestly love it if we got a new skin for her down the road of her wearing maybe a simple but cute dress like Ayakas with some ruffles here and there cause her ruffle socks are cute, lol, now that shes a commoner but still highly respected. Since she is now blooming into her own person, I think it'd be good for her to explore different stuff like that, now that she is detaching herself from her former role as the archon. I did see fan art of her trying on different hats and it was cute.
When they were really looking forward to a "fight-mode" Furina, I took it upon myself to do Raiden E, Yaoyao E and then got my still unbuilt Furina and whatever dodging skills I have to do the combat portion of the story quest, lol.
Furina's character development as well as how gamers saw her took a 180 after 4.5 main Story quest. It's a safe bet that most if not all who played had their heart broken and bleeding after experiencing what Furina had gone thru 💔
I feel like people are reaaaaaaally babying Furina…yes the girl did go through some Xtreme pain, but she is now relaxing and living her life, plus if Paimon acted like she did with any other character, everyone would say it’s just friendly banter because Paimon is brash and a bit dry with her humor…but because everyone instantly flipped to team Furina after the archon quest, Paimon is now the true manifestation of evil and deserves to be stabbed in the chest with travelers sword for being “rude” towards Furina
Somehow after 4.2 some people decided it would be best if Furina got treated like a damsel in distress or smth...Sure she got traumatized after the quest and set up boundaries, but who has the right to decide if she should take up the stage once more or not? Only her and not anyone else. She made her choice to help the group in the story quest, just as she chose to play as the Hydro Archon, so it's funny that some people say we/traveler "forced" her to take part in the troupe even though it was her who decided to follow us around
@@myfairlady7038 I know!!! They say the traveler gaslit her into joining the troupe when she literally explained she felt bad for acting a bit mean to the traveler and because her interest was peaked! It’s so odd how everyone who once said she was a snobbish brat who does nothing now wants to baby her and save her as if she was some damsel in need…it’s just so odd
I think for me more so, it was because Furina's boundaries were being pushed multiple times despite Furina clearly saying no and trying to set the boundary. Once Furina decided to participate on her own terms, that was her decision and it was totally fine! I personally think I would have reacted the same way regardless of the character, but I also don't hate Paimon after this. She's always had a streak of being rude here and there but that has never stopped me from pointing it out no matter who she was being rude to :)
@@ennieeeYT Yeah, intentional or not some of the things Paimon said was quite questionable. I just think that the last thing Furina wanted was to be coddled like a tragic victim. For me the reason that makes Furina special is not because of her trauma, but despite all of that, she still chose to do it for over 500 years to protect what she cherishes. That's the thing i believe people should focus on more: To not pity on what she went through but to praise her for what she achieved in the end.
Now sth got me thinking. In the other archon's voiceline, they seems to know that furina deceived the heavely principles, and furina is a human that suffer for 500 years bcs of it. First, how do they know? Second, does that make the heavenly principle actually know what happened already and cant do anything for now bcs the sins of fontaine is forgiven by the hydro dragon after neuvillete get back his authority over fontaine?
Beautiful reaction En! Love watching youre plathroughs, you def bring the emotion to them! :) AMAZING QUEST. One of my favorites for sure! Paimon was so rude and annoying AF I really hope they can drastically reduce her lines in the future....she hurts the story telling, def doesnt help it.
I didn't find Paimon's line offensive, simply because I can understand everyone's position during the story. Also she's a child, you can't expect more from her.
I do agree, but perhaps skipping straight from "last time we saw each other, I got sentenced to death and thought 500 years of soul-crushing efforts just went down the drain because of you" to "let's go on a happy date together" might be a cause for whiplash.
I love Furina so much ❤❤❤ unpopular take but people have such high standards with Paimon. She's as far as we're aware is a child. Kids can be both empathetic and rude, can any of us claim that we weren't insensitive and rude while growing up? Even as adults we sometimes forget to consider the feelings of others. Also how else will they display the depth of Furina's feelings and boundaries if no one pokes at it. Also banter is a common way when conversing with others who are struggling with themselves.
who get the vision is choosen by celestia, the archon/dragon soverign can only decide if they agrees to share of their powers. this make things a little interesting, why would the heavenly principle choose furina at this time... or was this decided a long time ago and that this was predetermine by fate.
err wrong we already know getting vision isnt connected to archons .... despite common belief across teyvat "Well, what I can say on this topic is subject to certain constraints, but... it is not by my will that Visions are granted or denied. The key is people's desire, and... well, there's another side to it too. "
As a french person im happy tbey at least put french somewhere cus it's all good to just put baguette that's food as a name for a dog but like finally something more relatable bruh tbey need to put genshin in french for fr ppl that don't understand English 😂
Furina is probably my favorite character in Genshin. However, personally, I wasn't a big fan of this quest. First of all Paimon was super annoying this quest. And I'm by no means a Paimon hater. But she was so out of line almost through the whole quest, given she knows about Furina what she's been through. Second, I just didn't really like how the whole quest Furina was trying to be so strong about her boundary only for that boundary to be crossed at the end.. I understand that she set up the boundary because of her past and not because she actually doesn't enjoy being on stage anymore, but still, I felt bad she had to cross her boundary in the end. That being said, I loved that we finally got to see who Furina actually is. Also the ending cutscene and her getting her vision was all done amazingly.
the quest's plot is amazing, so are the characters, the voice acting AND ESPECIALLY THE CUTSCENE WAS AMAZING AND MAGICAL. But paimon's attatude towards furina (even though i love paimon) really annoyed me, even furina called her out alot, the traveler wasnt that much better with him being pushy. If i was the traveler I WOULD GIVE HER THE BIGGEST HUG IN THE WORLD KNOWING WHAT SHE WENT THROUGH and they should have done that too!
to be honest what this quest really showed is that paimon absolutly does not understand human emotion or, she doesnt care at all i feel like the writer for the script of the quest gave her the voice lines paimon had on porpuse cuzz furina actually said something about it meaning they were aware of what paimon is saying
I'm sorry that I have to say this enniee, but your chat is dumb. No, there is literally no way any human could do anything to stop THE HEAVENLY PRINCIPLES from doing their job, if the twins couldn't stop them, how a mere not-even-human could do anything to stop it?. I think people don't understand what it meant that the prophecy WILL HAPPEN NO MATTER WHAT, it cannot be stopped, the only way to actually end the prophecy is to go through it, and that's what Focalors did, she made the prophecy happen, Furina was alone crying while their people were drowned by the sea. The prophecy happened, just no one died from it, or at least not a lot of people. Not even the Arc would have made it, as that is how it was written in Irminsul. It's funny, because I bet the same people that said Furina didn't deserve anything of these are the first to blame their politics about failing at their jobs. The truth is that they will be the first to throw fruits at Furina if they had the chance. Most people don't care about others that are not their loved ones.
what heavenly principles you speaking about ? its not some mysterious CN original can be translated also as "natural laws" its likely simply term for "world rules" but abused by celestia to also enforce their will
@@Shinom4ever it was never specified ingame we have bunch of fan theories and sustainer of heavenly principles ingame ( so only relevant source) also offer several possibilities ... from destiny to principles or Nahidas theory about descender ... but zero proof or confirmation of anything closest thing to anything solid is myth about orobashi breaking heavenly principles please ..... strop reading conspiraci theories from people like ashikai ... and go focus on game before talking but you wont learn much anyway its one of things kept in dark with slight bits of info ( thank you hoyoverse)
@@alanea5860 We know the Heavenly Principles are rules left behind in Celestia, and that we know since the launch of the game (well not that they are in Celestia, but the concept of the Haevenly Principles being rules). This is not a theory, this is confirmed in the first cinematic of the game, we know that the "Enforcer" or something with the power of the "Enforcer" destroyed Kaenrya. Now I simply don't remember if it was the first "Descender" or the second one, the one who actually created the Heavenly Principles, but we know it's not "a force or law of nature". We know that is man-made, or god-made if you like xD, and it has power over the actual "law of nature" of Teyvat. This was a theory, but in this patch it was confirmed by Nahida dialogue about Furina, who ever enforce the Heavenly Principles was able to write in Irminsul itself. So no, answering your first comment, we know it's not actually a force of nature or something that existed in Teyvat before the "Descenders", it is something created as probably their Enforcers are too.
@@Shinom4ever well not exactly .. game is inconsistent about this topic A) we have heavenly principles mentioned as rules = in this case its unknown if they are created by celestia or just enforced = we know breaking them have consequences for entire world ( cataclysm , forbidden knowledge - this would make principles as some kind of natural laws or rules .... causing catastrophic events if ignored ) B) you have nahidas theory .... considering heavenly principles as entity = first descender and practically leader of celestia " Nahida: I'm sure you remember the entity that changed your fate - the Heavenly Principles. Nahida: In fact, the Heavenly Principles has been quiet since the Khaenri'ah disaster five hundred years ago. I used this point as leverage against The Doctor. Nahida: I told him that the Heavenly Principles may be awakened if I destroyed a Gnosis. Although it was just a bluff, he still fell for it. Nahida: I assumed that the Heavenly Principles wouldn't just stand by and let such extensive damage to its "laws" take place." C) thory mostly based on enkanomiya and shades about " heavenly principles" being practically state of world where archons rule over regions .... as servants of celestia with this order protected by sustainer and Celestia actively hiding truth about past ... expecially info about primordial one .... or the fact they are not original almighty ruler of everything + keep in mind we also added stuff like foul one and sinner ( sinner was female ? ) foreshadowing events greater than teyvat A) is actually most likely variant after sumeru Apep mentioned dragons tried to defeat heavenly principles using forbidden knowledge to keep power while this will be likely deformed by translation it means heavenly principles existed long before celestia (primordial one defeated dragons and took their power long descenders and celestia appeared) so unless Apep lie . .... heavenly principles would be rules created by primordial one when shaping teyvat or principles even older than him making B) invalid C) sounds like propaganda from enkanomiya to make orobashi look as innocent victim btw dont take " writing into irminsul" literally usually no one writes anything into it (like scara) its automatic Nahidas comment can be actually valid with A) version = what Egeria did wasnt natural and prophecy can be simply consequence of such act just like cataclysm after gold did whatever he did btw almost everything connected to breaking heavenly principles seems to be connected to abyss or corrosion
This quest feels lackluster to me.. the traveler witness what furina had been through these 500 years in her memories but their interaction in this quest feel incoherent.. its like the writer of this quest didnt know the detail of what happening in the archon quest.. The rude remarks of paimon on serious scene also not helping..
I don't know maybe the writers wanted us to be mad at the traveler and paimon. Even during Act 5 traveler seemed pretty unsympathetic while hearing her inner thoughts. I don't know what they're planning but I don't think they'd would've been so tone deaf to make us feel bad for furina then have the traveling pair treat her like that didn't happen. Also their was that weird moment where traveler wasn't going to help that female blacksmith.
@@SaturdayParker did they.. try to separate traveler persona from the players image as their self insert? if that so it would be a 4d chess move from Mihoyo..
@@rpamungkas13 perhaps this is what happened to abyss sibling they were obsessed with finding us, and now traveler only cares about their sibling. Not necessarily a bad thing but the negatives are on display in this quest
Imo, i thought fontaines story was weak as hell... until the chapter finale and then furinas story quest. I prob cried for about 10 mins after the cutscene
To all the peoples who are mad at paimon, you can blame English CV or English voice character, because if you use Chinese or even Japaness, you will not feel rude, only cute for all the quests, Paimon in English voice is the worst and a lot of dialogue is distorted. So really welcome to try Chinese character voice!
I really hate how they made Traveler literally actively piss me off in this story quest and actually even at the end of the story... Not carrying even a single SHRED about Furina, even tho he/she was the ONLY one that LITERALLY SAW her pain, meanwhile they made us feel for EI who in reality was just a person that needed to get their shit together. Meanwhile Furina literally HAD to do something she didn't want for 500 years even tho she is actually a sweathearth
I would like to add, that while I definitely Understand the people of Poison, it's not like they were completely oblivious. EVERYONE learned that Furina was a FAKE at the trial, for some reason everyone acts like that didn't happen. I would understand if they were mad about her tricking them, but them thinking she could help when they SHOULD know that she is a FAKE is stupid
If someone in Sumeru City sang in Arabic, it would be very magical, but unfortunately there is no Arabic translation and they cannot make an Arab sing. I feel jealous The Arab fans of genshin are very large, yet they do not appreciate us. Most of us are whales lol
Arabic singing sounds terrible for most non arabic people ... same as german for example french is loved across planet ..... likely because its soft and fluid
I never remove Nahida since she became playable from my teapot and I’m never removing Furina from it either… they are NOT guests but rather permanent residents.. everyone else though can still be swapped in and out.. I got feeling though the Tsaritas back story might earn her the 3rd permanent spot too.. I got a feeling it’s got to be something utterly outrageously cruel.. 🥲
