I like this side of jstern. Feels like he's too chaotic on his own but he makes some really good arguments when forced to mellow out to not offend zajef lol
I was there for the streams, it was surreal. I started the day by watching Jstern, but then halfway through switched to watching Zajef and literally right as I started watching Zajef, Jstern called him, so I basically just stayed on the Jstern stream lol
This feels like a conversation we should only be having after she is out, there's just a lot of speculation and opinions based on things we just haven't fully seeing
well ackshually, we pretty much have all the info we need, as long as they don't adjust her stats/kit anymore. there's quite a few videos of Furina's abilities along with all the technical TC stuff.
Thr Wriothsley burgeon (?) team makes a lot of sense. I run a team of Noelle Nahida Yelan Xiangling with a similar concept where you erase the burn aura (Noelle geo) before applying off field hydro to both Yelan Vape and make more seeds that Xiangling can burgeon. I suppose in this case, it would be Wriothsley's cryo that erases some burn beforehand for the extra vape and seeding.
@@marcelusjarabe4057I tried to post the vid of the original creator of the team, but it seems like pasting link killed my comment. Basically, Xingqiu might do too much hydro app, so it would only work fluidly with Nahida's high dendro. DMC could still work well with Yelan though. So far, I haven't seen any English community discussing the team, so if you want to see a vid with nice visuals and team showcase, I recommend copy pasting "노엘 연소증발화" (Noelle BurnMeltBurgeon) in YT. Otherwise I could share more details myself. I do run a slightly diff rotation too.
@@mickysaif oh i didnt read the vape yelan thingy, mb. but what i wanted to ask was if the burgeon Noelle with xiangling would work without triggering burning
Furina might be the first character to create this many situations among theorycrafters and players.. Some say she is broken , some say she is balanced , some say she is sh*t , some she is the best hydro and some say she is the best unit in the game...
I feel that people who said she was bad was people who only hand 2nd hand knowledge of what furina can do. I'm pretty sure all of that furina is bad was from before her kit got buffed. After her huge buff this people who mistook her kit being bad recieved news of how good actually she is only made them second guessing what they thought they know
To be fair though, you have to understand that a lot of people aren’t really into Theorycrafting. so naturally, it is normal for them to say dumb shit. feelscrafting is a thing in casual community. She’s an alright character, even in her pre-buff state. her personal damage and hydro application at the baseline is worse than Xingqiu/Yelan but in exchange, she gives you an omega big DMG buff. she also trade off one slot for a healer (which usually don’t do any damage). so I says everything is balancing out.
Okay, zajef, the food names are fine. It reminds me of Magic the Gathering. But, you explained what boy Marie is and I still don't know what it is. Its gotta be at least somewhat catchy of a name to catch on. Like fridge or or soup.
Bain Marie is also known as double-boiler or hot water bath. If you temper chocolate or make dishes like cheesecake or creme brulee, it's a way to prevent overheating the dessert as the water cannot be hotter than 100C.
The Xingqiu making you invincible is so real that recently I was farming domains with Cyno + Xingqiu and somehow, despite being the one who spent most time on-field, he was the healthiest one out of the entire team-
I think Dehya gets relevance through Furina because of game balancing, where just as Hoyo introduced mechanical and elemental checks of enemies as well as hyper aggressive enemies like the consecrated beasts, they will also do the same with Furina's release, and that makes Dehya even more prevalent. How would you balance the game with your characters being more sustainable through more max HP and healing? My theory is that enemiy groups released post-Furina would hit hard like Dark Souls bosses, plus new damage mechanics such as max HP percentile damage, so basically fixed % damage that is based off % of your character's max HP. It wouldn't deal a flat value but damage relative to % of max HP, so enemies hit much harder respectively, but also as a reward playstlye to give you more Fanfare stacks. Dehya pretty much halving a % of fixed% damage makes it much better for the team to survive, and is eliminates the issue with Dehya taking less HP loss from a flat Damage value received and transated. Also, Dehya burn-vape is quite a suggestion to enable Furina to forward vape, and this without needing so much ER such as for Xiangling, and you can just maintain uptime via Sac Greatsword. I am in expectation of what new counters we will have against us with Furina increasing the survivability and high-risk high-reward play and heightened damage of teams. I genuinely believe Fontaine would be the appropriate time to introduce enemies that do fixed percentile damage, just not on all attacks but on signature attacks like Wind/Frost Operatives with Bond of Life application.
Cope dude. There is one thing that furina helps, and that is bringing healers relevance. Dehaya heals once every 20 seconds and only herself and only a little. Sorry....but no one in their right mind is using dehaya to bring out furinas potential. Dehaya is becoming a decenttttttt sidegrade to some characters in some new teams like lyney mono pyro and neuvillete hyperbloom. Key focus being on decent and sidegrade cause there is always other options. But sadly....furina does not cater to dehaya whatsoever. And.....that's just that.
Your Cooking feels a bit mild, but i guess thats personal bias to ones own cooking. My own cooking would be Vadouvan. So curry but French. Furina/Dendro/Pyro/Electro its basic idea is similar to your Bain-Marie but instead of reducing the pyro from burning with cryo you use electro to cause overloads and quicken. and while furina doesnt up the bloom reactions dmg it will up the personal dmg of the mostly em build units by alot given those lack elemental goblets.does need good critvalues on substats. might only work with nahida given that you need a constant stream of dendro to withstand the electro pyro and hydro apply. but upping her e dmg sounds Funk. My own Team for this is weird there are most likely better options but gotta provide an example. my version also req. c2 furina or atleast c1 to be worthwhile, similar i would say for other versions of this, until more fontaine units release that could be slotted into this for faster stack gains. also dont mind my units used its just fitting to my playstyle i just gotten so used to dehya e res and burst in this it feels like a literal Tank moving over pure Chaos when used in combo with doris burst* Team: nahida with dreams r1 and deepwood 4pc em/em/critdmg, dehya beacon r1 gilded 4pc em/em/em, furina ferryman r5 golden troupe hp%/hp%/critdmg, dori favonius r5 gilded 4pc em/em/em. so standard burgeon/hyperbloom builds for the electro and pyro while trying to get critvalue from substats and er% as needed. Nahida on her generic builds will do,i just have a busted af deepwood set that outshines all my gilded sets for her in total team dps with enough er% aswell so she doesnt need fav herself. Same for furina where i need the critrate more from the pipe over another fav. *Doris cons are NEEDED,without them she really isnt a useable unit but with them she really adds alot to this team, her burst energy gain while small does add up combining it with her c4 and favonius is also a very big help if you funnel the particles into a Swap burst cast ,the unit that bursts gets a good chunk of energy back. and if dori is c6 her onfield teamwide healing is also very useful, my own dori currently heals for a bit above 1k per hit with furinas buff i will heal the whole team 4 times per na string for a decent amount. her c4 also keeps dehya alive during her burst alot easier even if you facetank boss hits or groups of hard hitting enemys given that it also ups her own selfhealing. saved my runs plenty of times when dehyas hp bar had more drama then the dehyamains subreddit during the beta. gonna make use of that now with furinas burst to gain more dmg from it and even more healing. by my own calculations should get i c2 furina.my c1 dehya burst will hit for about 15k per crit punch, double the amount it does now which i say for a burgeon build is nice. should i somehow get a vape the dmg is gonna be funk given the 1k em she would have onfield. if i only get c1 it lowers to around 10-11k but still a good enough increase given the rest of the team also keeps doing dmg during her burst even better than right now without furina. overall im in good spirits this will work,i mean i used the same setup but with nilou as the sole hydro apply and it worked out, granted i did more overburn then anything else but eh nahida likes all reactions equally. Feel free to rip me a new bumhole if want, but ya cant change my mind i know this teams pros and cons well enough due to constant abyss usage(everything since dehya release but wenut and double cryo, hydro herald floor). and yes i can feed dehyas burst even with the little er% my dehya has(125%) she has, thanks to god damn dori and nahida particles so adding and feeding furina who has currently 163%+pipe effect will be cakewalk.
The funniest part about all of this discussion is that all of this shit is fine and the discussion of balance barely matters. Like the thinking about and discussing balance and relative strength is more interesting than actually playing any of those teams and clearing each side of abyss in about a minute.
For me i like that fact that they reduced furinas burst cost from 70 to 60, in this way I don’t have to use favge or that festering desire weapon (which I don’t even have) on her, i can go for her signature or the bp weapon. Its a big buff
To be extremely precise is not an object, or the word was used to describe a technique that without equipment is made by placing water into a pot over the fire then putting the food you want to cook into another pot that is placed into the water ...
I mean it would probably function, but I don't really see much of a point in using Kuki here since she isn't doing anything except providing another stack for Nuev and is also really annoying to work with since her skill often won't be hitting since you want to Kite with Nuev and not be next to the enemy. I'd sooner use Yaoyao or Baizhu for the team healing for Furina stacks and easier app or maybe Charlotte. A pyro healer would be nice maybe for some additional vapes but we don't really have one, Bennet is indeed one but yeah he's not really doing anything for Nuev. Either way yeah the last slot doesn't have a great healer to fill it that contributes a lot.
@@twigz3214 Maybe Charlote will be good. Kuki can trigger Electro Charged, you can even build her with EM instead of HP, thats more dmg than the other healers. At 1K EM, charged should hit like 10k so its not bad, it also hits AoE and stuns enemies. So group with Kazuha and electrocharge everything, then focus Neuv beam on the bigger enemies...
with c0/1 furina, Kuki should be enough healing to get your stacks in a Neuv Team if you pull for c2 furina then you dont need a Healer at all in a Neuv Team, because 1 Neuv-CA caps the stacks (Kuki -> Fischl/Yae with golden troupe ig)
Dori could actually be pretty good here. She needs alot of ER but she is a very good fit here cuz a)Electro infusion will prevent the hydro from drowning out the electro application b)She restores energy for both off them.
@@achy7872 You don't have to get so defensive over a stranger's opinion about your favorite content creator's funny meme. I didn't even attack him or anything. I aint letting him off easy because I like him too. Grow up and do better.
@@IDKbruh420that’s dumb. it is still one of his best team at C0. sure, you lose one stack but why does it matter ? you have enough damage in that team to clear shit anyway. beside, building a cohesive team is much more important than trying to get one more stack. you can also gains one more stack by just reacting with element that is on enemy.
@@nanathedelta8561It's more of his interruption resistance on his C1 that makes the comp much more comfy. When he's at C0, a shielder is usually recommended.
@@nanathedelta8561nah what you're saying is dumb, neuvi needs a shielder easpecially in abyss and losing 35% of his damage is huge in a hypercarry team, you can still do it since this game is easy but it won't be his best team at c0
I want to know which team would work better between these 2: neuvi- furina- baizu- fishl or neuvi- furina - jean - fishl. I like playing healers so yea
That team of wrio wouldn't work at all. 3 enrgy hungry characters of different elements? Unless you run them all with favonius and a lot of ER but at that point would it be worth it?
Yes it would be, because Furina ain’t losing that much from a Fav, especially because she’s vaping. Xiangling’s losing a bit, but because of EM diminishing returns it’s actually not as much as you think. Baizhu’s only there for application and healing, he’s a good healer, so you can afford a bit more ER. Wriosthesley doesn’t have any ER reqs.
You can deal with their ER needs, I play teams like that quite often even energy poor scenarios (stuff like Sucrose, Yelan, Rosaria and a Xiangling… yes, it works and it’s also actually decent)
