Seeing this one again tomorrow just to fully process it because this thing is HUGE. One of my favourite action films of the decade so far for sure. What a film. What a lovely film.
Dune 2, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and then this. Let’s goooo!!!! We’re also getting Alien: Romulus this August. I cannot wait to check Furiosa out tomorrow.
I think Furiosa is better than Fury Road 🙌. I was emotionally invested more and I loved that the pacing was a lot like Road Warrior. It had more depth IMO
Absolutely. And now I actually think the two compliment one another wonderfully. While, at the same time, not being too redundant, which is what I was worried about when the trailers came out. Miller definitely didn’t rest on his laurels. What an accomplishment.
Loved Fury Road and loved Furiosa, saw it last night on IMAX. Could notice the extra use of CGI in this one and sometimes subpar, but overall insane and entertaining and way more good story than expected, actors all nailed it. Definitely watch on a big screen!
We loved it. The funniest part was the henchman who acted out everything Chris Hemsworth's character said. Me and my wife went home and started doing the same and couldn't stop laughing.
I agree , i enjoyed this more then Fury Road. I had a great time , the action is full of energy and i had no problem with the CG despite i thought i was going to.
Just got out of the theater from seeing it. Absolutely loved it. Definitely my number 2 of the year (behind Dune), and will for sure end up in my top 10 once the year is over.
I had an absolute blast with Furiosa, some of the green screen and CGI wasn’t perfect but I didn’t mind it that much, and the practical sets and vehicles and awesome costumes mixed with the cinematography and colors etc. made it feel very old school in the best was possible. I also loved how it expanded and further explored the societies of the Wasteland and really worked with this world. Alyla and ATJ were both great and Hemsworth is super entertaining and commanding at the same time - I didn’t know he had this in him! A fun genre cartoonish performance. Super fun movie, I can’t wait to do a Furiosa/Fury Road double feature one day, because this is a terrific prequel.
I don't expect it to be better than Fury Road, or Dune pt.2, and that's OKAY. If it get even sniffs the same ballpark as those 2 films, that'll be a massive win. Going on Monday 🤞🤞
Loved Fury Road, as for Furiosa, despite that it's not as good as Fury Road (I think George Miller himself knew that too), I still enjoyed the hell outta this movie and I'd love to see it again. What a lovely movie, WHAT A LOVELY MOVIE!!!!!
You know Austin for a 2024 that I would say is one of the lesser years for films in recent memory in terms of their abundance I still feel happy that we are getting some great stuff and I can happily add Furiosa to that list because this was awesome!
I really enjoyed Furiosa. It’s a nice expansion and it is quite the saga. But I missed the urgency of Fury Road. I did love that it was different though. :)
Yeah I thought we was getting a massive battle at the end when that history narrator guy is talking about a wasteland war and then we only get glimpses. It was done well tho and we could potentially see that in the future
Completely agree with you on things looking a little too clean. I think the grittiness of "Fury Road" really added to how real it looked and felt, and this one feels a bit too polished. But still a great addition to the franchise! Are you talking about the... hmm... epilogue section at the end? That was a bad call, IMO, didn't do the movie any favors.
My current Top Ten Films of 2024 (subject to change): 👑 #1. Dune: Part Two #2. Hit Man (Richard Linklater) #3. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga #4. Love Lies Bleeding #5. Challengers #6. Late Night with the Devil #7. Abigail #8. Civil War
This movie rocked in gorgeous Imax!! I hope George Miller closes this new trilogy with Mel Gibson reprising his role and creating the craziest, zaniest Mad Max film - much like Hugh Jack man did with Wolverine in Logan. Old Man Max.
Furiosa, trust me, with a cinema sound system, this movie was shaking the chairs in our screening, it was great! It's a movie to be seen on the big screen.
Does Isl has a path for his devotees towards enlightenment? I should think soDt Wait from RDt Pillqi on a video on this we here he can explain clearly because he is a fully enlightened being. As you know during the 12th and 13th centuries the Caliphs in the Arabic Woorld held immense power in the material in realm. But IIslam is also very strong spiritually Dr Pillai has taught us how the Prophet Mpohamed receive his tenets from Allah through a Light in the cave There was a moment i the cave when the Prophet ask the Light who he was. The Light says Ahir Ashad Ahir meaning I am what I am now and forever. Wait for the video taughtanyr by a Difi on how Muslimd can use their techniques within their religion to get enlightened
I loved Furiosa. Thought it was better than Fury Road. Very saddened at the way it's bombing. It's a damn shame. People rather consume trash like Avatar, Fast & The Furious, and MCU instead of something like this. Fuck everyone.
