Then nuclear radiation caused a mutation to occur, which in turn caused the dog’s genome to be completely reconfigured, so that it became a human girl. Although he did come to see her as a surrogate daughter which is why she refers to him as “Pa” in Fury Road. Glory’s parents are the warlord Dementus & Hope, who was Miss Giddy’s daughter.
