What’s the movie about?
After securing amnesty for their past crimes, Toretto (Vin Diesel), O’Conner (Paul Walker) and the team return to the US ready to live a normal life. However, special forces assassin Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) is seeking to avenge his brother Owen, disturbing the team’s plans.

As a matter of fact, that scene is actually possible in real life; as long as the chute is big enough to hold the weight and the wind is not too strong. Besides, in past and modern warfare, armies even dropping tanks with chutes.

This scene blew my mind in the theatre. Yeah, yeah, the cars couldn't have been that close together, circular parachutes can't steer that precisely, and the whole thing is preposterous, but that's what made it so good! The Fast and Furious movies can't be matched for their ability to maks their audience want to suspend disbelief. The authentic reactions from the actors and the sound design really sell it as well.

Never watching a Fast and Furious Movie since the first one in theaters and been at Furious 7 opening day because an invitation I was rolling my eyes so hard when they where falling from the plane... By the time Michelle goes "Touchdown!" and that music kicks in, my brain goes "look, this is not supposed to be real, this is just supposed to be fun, ok you got me, I'm in." Had such a blast at the movies that day cheering with the rest of the theatre.
