I’m having an issue after installing this combo on my Katana. Under load going over an obstacle the motor will stall and I’ll get a loud whine sound coming from the esc. Is this normal? I figured it could be a way to protect itself from damage under binds.
Hi, No on the damage protection. I have a video from loins dam, I broke an axle because of fishing twine. The cedar didn’t care and all my rigs that have furitek are only running 70% power. I would say uninstall everything and install again and be carful of how tight you get every thing. Thanks for the question 🙋♂️
@@SCX24RANGE thanks for the reply! I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled a few times now making sure that nothing is too tight. The whine will happen under heavy load or if my tires get pinched. Seems to be coming from the esc. At this point, I’m stumped.
@@SCX24RANGE not with the Lizard Pro and Venom setup but when I upgraded to a micro komodo, I got the whine. Now with the Phython Pro and Cedar combo I’m getting it too.
@ax831fernandez I’m stumped 🙂. The Komodo’s do whine, at least in my rigs. You can check out my videos, the bronco has a full size and the c10 has the mini. Side note, what is your startup power set to?
