I'm SO excited! My pool is almost done and I need a few things to transform my backyard. Shop with me for the perfect new sofa for the patio, loungers, an outdoor dining set, and chairs for around the pool. Coming from someone that splurged on my outdoor furniture, I really regret it. From the pool and weather abuse, we really should've went cheap cause $7.5K went down the drain. It was perfect then 3 months after 1 year warranty it shredded/ faded and the rattan got all sharp. I went to a hotel and used there vendor, got it all for $2.8K for an 11 PC set and it's been wonderful for nearly 6 years. They also had a 5 year warranty, so they sent out new cushion covers in a week.

I completely agree with you. I understand it is not my money, but I couldn't help myself side-eyeing all this white furniture. Raven keeps mentioning Ziya's birthday like, you want a 6 year old birthday party with all that white furniture? That will ruin/stain very quickly

@@yemsternaynay The fabric is weather and stain proof! I have the exact same white fabric on my indoor dining chairs and have had a good experience with it over the past 2 years. The comment above seems to be talking about a totally different style/material of furniture. Mine will not be rattan or wood, it'll be aluminum which is more durable. Also they said the pieces i viewed on display at the store had been sitting out there for 3 years and they still looked new! Sometimes a higher price does not mean higher quality, but i think in this case it actually does.

I think over by the grill , a bar type sitting area would be nice having it on the opposite side of the grill and have the middle opening as room.

It would be nice to have the wet bar area still have a long countertop to entertain with to set out platters or a drink station. I love how it's all coming along 🤗

Because I watch alllll of your other videos including parties, life as a mom and beauty influencing videos. Nonetheless, I remember you saying in several videos that you have now became the family member and mom amongst your friends where you entertaining more. You said your wet bar may be smaller, I would say, keep the full counter space. One year you had a margarita maker and you have drink dispensers. The counter space will help with cups, drink options, etc..Just overall be an option when your having your Virgo decor moment for your events👌🏿👌🏿. I know it will be beautiful either way

Arhaus is another furniture store that has outdoor furniture that you would like. It's on the level of restoration hardware but a level up! I hope you can check it out

I know it’s not my call, but pushing Ziya’s party back a little can give you more time to give the furniture their much needed grace periods. Also more time to figure out travel arrangements and party planning!

I was always planning to push it back an extra week from her actual birthday, which does give a little extra time... but due to other scheduling conflicts, I cant really do any other date.

*you can get them to build your outdoor wet bar out of cement as well so you don’t have to worry about the wood and you can cover it in tile or have it buffed and add any color to the cement*

Look at hotels for inspo. Casa Cook hotels have amazing outdoor design! Those designers do an amazing job of mixing pieces but adhering to a single style.

Your backyard is going to be spectacular! Keep in mind that white cushions require maintenance in terms of keeping them clean. Make sure that the fabric they are constructed from is sunbrella(fade and stain resistant) . And,are the furniture pieces treated so they won’t easily scratch? I’m sure you’ve considered all of this but just wanted to put it out there.cant wait to see the transformation.

The L shaped couch will cut off the flow between the living room and patio. The backsplash behind the wet bar will nice if it’s a mix of the tile from the fireplace and kitchen backsplash in a herring bone setting.

Everything looks great so far. I love the idea of the storage outside with the small wet bar because some stuff you may not want to have inside (certain cookware, gloves stuff for outside etc) also you mentioned about the umbrellas (great idea) but if you would have them bolted down and a cover up in case you move them (for esthetics) because we know how the wind does and I know you may not want to chase down them umbrellas if they are blowing across the yard and what not (sometimes I gotta chase my dang recycling bin lol) looks great though I need to go to RH I love furniture shopping. Also the plants they had there looked so nice!🌺🌺🌺🌺

With the way Texas sun is set up...make sure you get some kind of seating with retractable umbrellas. We didn't and it was hell being outside. Lesson learned. I hurried up and purchased some.

The pool and patio area is looking nice, just imagine when you get the furniture. I think you should put a fire pit near the pool patio. The furniture at RH looks beautiful but the metal parts will get hot in the sun out there. I hope everything will be delivered before Ziya’s Birthday. 🥰💕

It’s nice, I live in TX, outside just too hot for me even thought I have a patio fan and my backyard gets evening sun 😢. When I try enjoy outdoors at night like I got the outdoor tv and patio sectional the little bugs attracted to the light devour my tv and the mosquitoes just won’t chill. I have pest control, but mosquito treatment isn’t included and I already pay them $660 a yr for termites and regular pest control. Since you also live in TX I’m watching to get ideas on how to counter this and enjoy my backyard as much as I can

So an idea, I have a in wall fireplace in the house what if u added a small retctangle electric fireplace between the wet bar and the tv with the tile backsplash to give some warmth at night when people are sitting up there watching tv .. or fire pit up on that level that’s gas to give u some warmth instead just a coffee table so it’s functional and still can be used as a coffee table if needed

You should try a projector screen instead of a TV. The TV exposed to the outside always rust inside. A projector screen can be as big as you like.

Check out your RH Outlet to see what pieces they may have. I recently saw a lot of outdoor furniture at the one in the DFW. Also, that collection is very low to the ground as with most of their pieces. I say check Arhaus too for options.

I haven’t gotten that far into the video so I’m not sure if you mentioned it yet. But for the wet bar area, if you did like the idea of it being long over small, you could always make the extra space storage. And use it for some of Ziyas pool toys/games or just general outdoor and pool cleaning supplies.

Will the furniture come with plastic covers to protect it from the rain? Also, what about a table with an umbrella because it's directly in the sun and Texas summer heat is unforgiven. I loved what you pick for the patio.
