This place is inmense if you go farther you can get lost in the forest. Hurricanes and wildfires affected people in California and most of them are still not able to continue working until further notice. If you want to become even more professional and make betters business in our company, you have to think further than usual. I'm from England and I have never used the word "farther" in any context. All UK dictionaries, and the major US ones, define further and farther as comparative adverbs, so I wonder where this distinction originated from?

To be honest, I'm in South Africa and we never used "farther". I was always under the impression "further" is British English, and "farther" American English.
