Great plugin! Just demo'd it and bought it. I was going to buy the KIT BB N10 (and I haven't compared the EQs) of the two but just using the saturation only of each plugin comparing across all tracks I preferred the VCS-1 and the compressor sounds killer! ...oh, and this is half the price to boot.
This channel strip is ALMOST perfect, please guys at Fuse Audio Labs, make the HP LP filters full frequency, it is so beneficial for sound design and automation tasks, placing something distant in the depth field or filtered sweeps, especially for the LP filter, that is the one thing I have been missing in all channel strips, and Brainworx have done a great job with their x3 or /3 switches on E and G consoles, but their LP still ends at 1 kHz. I find myself LP-ing down to 500-600 Hz regularly when doing sound design, so it would be so cool not to have to load another EQ just for that. Other than that, this sounds very very promising, coupled with Fuse Audio stellar coding, it's a winner for sure.
What about eq curves? Is it SSL? Would be cool to have "Pro" version of plugin where you can switch Neve, API curves fo EQ, FET/Opto/VCA for compressor
@@15bleach51 I second that. Too many 1073 and 1084 Neve emulations out there, but for some reason, other than UAD, not a lot of quality 1081 ones, and that is the most versatile EQ from Neve 80 collection. Sounds amazing and warm.
Hi Mr. Breezy, this is a known, host specific issue (it's also mentioned in the FAQ) and it only occurs in in Ableton VST3. Please stick to the 100% setting or use VST2 as a workaround here. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@@fuseaudiolabs thanks for the reply. I use the vst2 version in future. I would be glad about more then 125% zoom. That is of interest for users with high resolution displays. Btw i love the plugin. Good job
Just as Project Home Studio pointed out: The point of the vocal example is to demonstrate that the plugin is ALSO capable of adding vibe (in this case narrow band vintage kind of color) indeed.
it made vocals worse (like 📞 Telephone), guitar 🎸 worse, drums 🪘 worse. Not in a pleasant way worse like adding a vintage vibe would do but just plain worse.
