Trying 17 different Japanese street food at the one of the most popular shrines in Kyoto Japan Fushimi Inari Taisha Address: 68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-0882, Japan Video was taken in Dec & early Jan, stay safe!
I hate the ones that have music etc, I prefer this type of ambiance street noises. Sometimes for me it’s not always watching video that counts it’s those noises too.
I also love how he has captions explaining that the items are. I unsubscribed from a couple other food channels because they could never bother to explain what they were showing. Their philosophy seemed to be, "If you don't know what this dish is, then oh well, too bad." This channel educates people as well as showing the food, and that makes it one of the best.🍲🍡🍦
I was thrilled to find this after binging on Malaysia street Food videos. I've noticed that our lovely lady has a "tell" when she doesn't care for something. She still smiles, but her eyes don't widen and she doesn't nod. The smile is still there though. She makes these videos. I love her enthusiasm to try everything.
I always have to skip over that. I'm sorry and I really have tried. I love these videos been watching these for years, but I really don't like that part 😂 It happens all the time and it's always the same reaction. I'm not trying to even be mean just stating my opinion. It doesn't even seem to be a rare opinion.

@@@illeatthat Street food creators are all pretty hardcore it seems. They work hard, fast, and feed the masses on the cheap. Global heroes one and all.
French chef: I love this knife it is made using the finest metals and was handed down from my master to me. Japanese street food vendor: I use a utility knife that i also use to open boxes.
I love this channel. I've never ever eaten any Asian type foods. What I see here makes me want to try them all. I enjoy watching things being made and served. I love it's natural background noises,no music to make me cut volume off! And the taster lady is just too adorable when she smiles! Makes me smile too even if I'm having a bad day! Thank you! Keep up the great work and videos!!!!
@Roger Longfellow. - I break one egg with 2 hands , usually manage to break the yolk half the time, and nearly always manage to get a few small bits of shell in - which are a b --- d to get out.
Your videos are so relaxing, because there's so little talking and your excitement is so adorable and relatable. But without all the exaggerated vocal reactions and words. Thanks for making my days better.
I feel so pathetic seeing other peoples eating delicious food while here i am sitting in my bed while eating the bag of chips i haven't finish 2 days ago But oh well nice video as always
I love it when the Mrs gets something she really enjoys and when there's something she's just eating to be polite. 90% of the time though it all looks sooo tasy.
Things that I noticed is she is smilling and nodding her head when the food is good^^ Or just simple smile when (I think) the food is just so-so.. And she has another expression if she doesn't like certain food (you can check in one of their video when she tried some fish head dish, and she didn't like it.. But I don't remember in which video).. ^^
@@umbrella8788 I think she’s soooo adorable, and I believe her reactions are true! She just seems like a sweet, adventurous, and fun girl. I love these videos.
I love how everyone else is using burners and all kinds of other tech to cook and then you just have the "fish on a stick over a fire" guy rocking it old school
Mrs Bacons is so cute! I love it when you can tell that she actually doesn’t like something! I’m still wondering what they do with all of the extra food 😋
These videos always make me so hungry! My sister and I enjoy watching them together and always look forward to seeing the girls smiling face & her very hungry husband
Gee Gee is there a specific name for the sauce? Or is it just referred to as “yakisoba sauce”? I’ve never had yakisoba before but it looks extremely good
I've never been to Japan before. I really enjoy the fact that they've kept the original audio, really feels like we're in the same place as them. I also really enjoy the excitement face she makes after every bite!
What I like about this program is that they actually say what they are eating. A lot of other programs don't do that and I'm left wondering what it is that they are eating
Fushimi Inari is a very famous shrine! Among the various gods in Japan, the god of food is enshrined. There's so much more, so much more delicious stuff out there! I hope you will come to Kyoto again.
Having been to Japan, I can verify that those red bean pancakes are very good. However, if you don't like the consistency of red bean paste (it's a bit of an acquired taste, to be fair) I'd recommend other snacks. The custard one seems like a logical, decent choice for those who don't like red bean paste.
@@Iymarra It's sweet, but a bit chalky at the same time, in my experience. Also, if you're anywhere near Los Angeles, CA, (specifically near Little Toyko) there is actually a small bakery that makes red bean pancakes fresh, in very much a similar method it's made in the video, if not the same. I believe they also make takoyaki and a few other classic Japanese snacks.
@@Iymarra it tastes pretty sweet but not too sweet like usual fillings, and it terms of flavor it's like a thick hummus with little chunks of sweet red beans.
@@Iymarra think the texture of the inside of a baked bean but absolutely none of the taste of one, the taste is a very sweet, and slightly starchy. Some have little chunks of bean and some are a completely smooth like the one shown in the video. But remember, tastes nothing like what you would think of when you think of beans.
@@its_saber1525 Tonkotsu ramen is amazing. Miso ramen is good too. Funnily enough, my favorite part of any ramen dish is the soft-boiled egg, which ordinarily I usually dislike when prepared by itself. The only reason why I like it in ramen is because it soaks up the broth and takes on its flavor.
I agree about not having music to distract. It does feel like I am there..I just wish I could try the delicious food!! Yummy! I really like the girl that tastes the food, she is so cute..or I believe in Japanese it is called Kawaii.?? Very great video! Keep making them, one day I will come to Japan! Stay Safe everyone 🤗💗
One of these days in the next years 🤣🤣 I really want to experience Japan!! I live in Cali! We have Farmers Markets with street food but nothing compares to yummy Japanese street food! Great video!! I loved it!!! ❤️💛💚
I started watching your channel today. I am hopefully going to be visiting Japan next year. You have made so many videos of places I must try! It will be funny being a 6'3 American over there. Also your filming partner always makes me laugh when she tries something and she lights up with joy.
I wanna know why people dislike this video... very great video with out any music And that lady’s smile is with positivity It’s good how they explore Then why people dislike this video ☹️
I really love your adventure, and love watching how they made it, and the many exciting food booth you two have visited and tried the food out. Her smile says it all.
Quite true. Went there last February from Osaka. As if the train ride to Inari wasn’t expensive enough (costed me ~1100 JPY one-way from Shin-Imamiya Sta. - Inari Sta.), I got the hurricane potato there for like 200-300 yen (cheap if you ask me) but the prices at the other food stalls seemed really pricey to me.
It's a festival market. All the vendors have to pay for a slot and they are marking the prices up by a big margin because location. Think of it like a carnival or fairground where you pay $5 for a candyfloss or a hotdog! Same thing. Look at the boxes of ingredients in the background. They are pumping out $5 portions all day and that is their business. They will go from one festival to another doing the same thing. Many of these slots are managed by Yaks in one way or another. Think of the over cost going to fund crime and you will not be far from the truth.
