Once again a killer how to video with the clearest instructions of life. Thank you for taking your time out and providing step by step instructions. Always look forward to your videos.
I love your videos! I’m an Industrial designer with over 25 years experience in parametric modeling on ProEngineer, SolidWorks, OnShape and now Fusion360. Your content is very pertinent clear and concise. Keep up the great work!
@@alejandroperez5368 You never stop learning new ways. Fusion 360 changes all the time, and this channel does a great job with crystal clear instructions.
I really like that you basically did the same things 3 or 4 different times with different parts of the model. Instead of having to watch the same bit over and over again.
It really is amazing how powerful this program is, I've only just started to learn this program with no previous experience in CAD, and thanks in part too owning a 3D printer I have already made wall brackets for all my small devices I own, and will soon be working on storage solutions for my tools I have only seen two of your videos so far, and they honestly are very good Iv already become aware there are many different ways to get the results you want; this video is a good example of that. I'm eager to learn more as I don't think a lot of what I'm doing right now is very optimised. Thank you for some great videos. i'v subscribed and will be looking through your past videos when time presents itself, Thanks again.
The aim of the shell command is always to achieve a certain wall thickness. It will ignore faces where the thickness is already met. In this case, I found that I had to select the whole chain of faces in order for the shell to complete and let me hit the ok button. It is weird in this way sometimes.
I decided after the video to post the full version. In this case, I thought it would be good for viewers to be able to go through the full timeline. If anyone wants to do a practice run, they can simply roll the timeline back.
@@Fusion360School Alright! I always try and do the parts before diving into your videos, just for fun/practice and also it really helps me understand why you do things the way that you do. Now having the full version, it was really hard not to cheat and look at the timeline aha. But it's ok. Anyway, keep it up!
