Hi, I really don’t understand what do you mean by string or sting?

Got it done and printed it: I have a couple of questions/comments. The "slots" in the bottom of the hinges wouldn't allow the hinged top to slide in. I have to enlarge them w knife to get them to slip on. Also - the lip for the lockable top seems too large. Lid is difficult to open and close. Did I mess up somewhere?

Yeah, insert lid in the box it was slightly challenging for me also, so ether slots have to be bigger or this spheres smaller, depending on 3D printer also.. The lid lock is good to post process with filer. Or make smaller in Fusion 360. I do apologize if it is confusing. P.S.: lock was tight in my case also.

@@Max3DDesign I made the slots 1.5mm instead of 1. Printing now.

@@Max3DDesign OK printed again made the slots 1.75mm and shortened the "tab" for the lid lock. Much better. Going to print a larger one and see how that turns out.

Very nice! I wanted to make a hinged parametric box - now all I have to do it convert my measurements to formula.

And if your box is 20 cm long, and your lid is 5 cm long you still can print in place???
