Fuslie's actually really good! She just needs to get better at aiming, thinking, map awareness, using abilities, positioning, communication, econ management, clutching, team coordination, peeking, crosshair placement, callouts, understanding agent abilities, predicting enemy movements, controlling recoil, rotating effectively, utilizing utility, listening for footsteps, keeping calm under pressure, pre-firing, optimizing your sens, optimizing keyboard placement, optimising brain and talking with more authority and urgency. If she did all that, then she would hit gold like lily. probably surley
honestly, this is the first time i see someone do this much effort to coach leslie. all the others just tell her some basic things to do, whether she's gonna do it or not, its whatever. i mean.. look, at one point while timmy is explaining, i feel like her brain imploded, i can see it in her eyes.
timmy actually did a good job teaching her vital reyna stuff like throwing higher blinds, dismissing, etc. i watched the whole stream and i feel like what held her back today was timmy being SO informative which should be good, except her attention span is extremely short LOL i know she can grasp the idea of what he’s saying, but too much info can really overwhelm her making her forget stuff the next second
@@urmomaria I don't think it's her attention span all that much, it's exactly what timmers said...one thing a day. It's not just Leslie, unless you're a natural born prodigy or have played FPS games since childhood to have that as foundation, no one will grasp all the aspects in one session, much less be able to improve them. The limited time constraint just made them pile everything in I guess.
Its also important to not say too much so she can acc implement thibgs in her playstyle. Timmy probably could have told her at least 10 mistakes every round
going from making fun of capped for his mouse + keyboard placement _(which was completely deserved because of how atrocious it was lol)_ to being made fun of for the exact same issue... 💀💀 leslie learned a valuable lesson yesterday: *what comes around, comes back around.*
Nah, this is so sweet, and a really hard thing to talk about. People love video games as an escape, but a lot of people get to a point where they want to be good at them, but don’t know what that means or what it takes. Timmy is very kindly explaining that sometimes our best isn’t enough, but that Leslie can change and improve (like we all can), and is genuinely coaching her. I’ll say, the best advice has to be the mindset. Nitpicking every move and decision and finding a better way to do it 20/20 hindsight is one of the best ways, and also looking to how friends it streamers navigate harder situations as well! This was actually so sweet!
Losing does equal learning if people are critical of their errors and trying to figure out how to change them. There's a lot of people that just constantly lose and have absolutely no idea why, and don't realize the errors that they're making.
Yeah like to actually improve at her level she needs to deathmatch a lot. Its not fun but thats just what you have to do. I was bronze 1 and i played 1 hour of dm.everyday for a month no ranked. Then played ranked and smoothly climbed to diamond. And i continued deathmafching and improving/fine-tuning my mechs the entire time. Then just a ton of hours and im ascendant. Immortal i need more gamesense to hit.
I feel like there is an argument by some coaches to instalock Reyna in low elo so you can play selfishly and not have to worry about team play as much since low elo players can’t coordinate well together. But that’s under the premise of the player actively working on their game mechanics so that they can frag out on Reyna and quickly climb. But the problem here is that leslie doesn’t seem to want to put in those hours grinding her mechanics she just wants someone to tell her that she is in elo hell and it’s not her fault she can’t climb
Coaches recommend onetricking reyna to gold because she doesn't have complex util to think about and she doesn't let you avoid taking gunfights(ex. You have to win the fight in the first place to dismiss). Basically it's recommended to make the person not scared to shoot people as mechanics matter more in low elo.
I wish he was a little more honest with her, she's not "hardstuck", she's right where she needs to be and that's not a bad thing. Nothing is wrong with her account either, her rr gains and loses are in line with her performance. There's too many narratives in online gaming today, nobody wants to be honest with themselves anymore. We've lost the plot, chase getting better at the game not the rank, the rank comes with getting better.
@@thecasual1482 I 100% agree with you because there were time where Leslie was doing her voice thing so Timmy can agree with her. But I also think he was doing that so he doesn’t hurt her feelings. If she get coach by Tiffae, she would tell Leslie straight up
Steph Curry had to rework his shot at one point when he was younger. He said it was one of the hardest/most painful things he went through. But, look how it turned out for him. It will be hard, but you can learn to not flick for no reason.
I love Leslie and think she’s the funniest person, but watching the livestream was unbearable, to say the least. I feel like her ego is so big that she doesn’t realize how bad she is. I mean, I know she says she’s bad, but at the same time, she doesn’t really learn from it. There’s a reason why she loses more rank rating (RR) than she gains. It really depends on how well you perform in the game and the scoreboard. She also says she does well with harsh criticism, but I don’t think so, lol. I know for sure she was getting hurt but didn’t want to show it. One more thing, to get better, you need to be versatile with different agents. Being a one-trick Reyna won’t always help you rank up. Please don’t come for me; this is just my take after watching the stream.
The amount of times she yells "I'm a GOD" while being 4 - 14 or something lol. Although I kinda enjoy her naive positivity, it's what I need in my life sometimes.
What’s so funny is she’s having the same reactions my hardstuck diamond friends have. They think winning is so out of their control that they stop looking in the mirror lol
I've been using a large keyboard because I'm just so used to it. The buttons have worn out on it. I even have two wireless (65% and 75% mechanical) keyboards of much better quality I never use. It just feels right when I use it. But maybe I should get out of my comfort zone and start using a better one. I just know I'll drop off a bit in skill at the start.
the first thing you can do as a complete bot in this game is acknowledge that YOU are the problem. put the ego aside, be happy to learn, and go tap some heads.
the iso was afk for a good 3-5 rounds (or more), and she was telling timmy that her teammates were a huge factor to her games. i think that’s the context why she said that, not about the cheating part.
she went 14/20 on a 26 round game. +10 is agreeable. -22 is normal. the -30 on the mvp game is bc she went negative and the game wasn’t even close (2-13 scoreline). i ain’t saying her mmr is great but there’s definitely a skill issue
the main reason she loses more rr than win is that she mostly plays with higher ranked friends, so her rank is boosted but the hidden mmr shows the truth
I'm gonna say it: Timmy is not a good coach. Fuslie obviously has a ton of problems since she dropped down to iron, but 1) Back seating her when she's playing 2) Talking to her about the previous round when she's supposed to be concentrating on the CURRENT round 3) Pointing out ALL of her mistakes rather than getting her to focus on 1-3 at a time will not make her rank up at all.
She needs to play deathmatches until she is literally sick of killing enemies. There are so many things for her to learn but she really needs to forget everything she thinks she knows, and just start fresh. But she’s old so I understand if it’s hard to teach her lol I’m stubborn as well for my age
Isn't it true tho? Like age does really matter, my reflex gets slow, my aim isn't as cracked as I was back when I was younger. I just have to play smarter now I guess..
I dont think u can improve when you're one trick sometimes you have to play other agents and see how other play or dualist and enter or sentis setup and if you are consistently entering without any clue just running in you will die.
Nah when ur below ascendant heck even immortal u should solely focus on ur mechanics and agent/map mastery. Ur game knowledge dont matter if u get outaimed all the time. Best way to improve is to be better aimer than ur rank and slowly working on ur game knowledge and habits
I like how everyone in comments is using leagues mmr as a reference for valo hinnden mmr like they know how it works? I bet even rito gave up on leauge mmr since my lobbies are bronze-plat lobbies every other game
its so funny. these streamers have access to the top 0.1% of players of every game and get personal coaching completely free but refuse to get better. i get its for content but still man. i would be rewatching sessions writting down etc if i actually wanted to get better. thats probably the point though. unfortunate. to make a point just because you one of the top players doesnt mean youd be good at coaching
I don’t know about other streamers, but I know that Rae got coaching from Timmy and now plays better, and she plays other agents. She no longer only plays Viper, but Viper is still her favorite.
