i mean the "easy" way is to say it like wag-yu. but the "proper" version is wa-gyu. not sure how people figure out how to pronounce it as wagoo. Also, I am 99% sure Sykkuno is trolling because he pronounces other things wrong on purpose as well.
So the kanji is 和牛 so in grade school kana it's わぎゅう which is (wah, gi, yu, u) u being like the oo's in boo and in kana when ぎ (gi) and ゆ (yu) are together you drop the i from gi and it becomes gyu. So the romaji would be like wahgyuu. Like Graham is saying it's more of a wah like a guitar wah wah pedal but also the extra u (oo) at the end is important, just like not breaking the 2 syllables up and they don't emphasize either like we would on the g.
