Nah there are plenty of young racists out there lmao. I agree up to preteen years but a person who is racially abused is still experiencing racism regardless of if the other person is young. I’ve never understood the argument of dismissing someones past racism just because they were a teen…which is something I see way too often. Obviously in this case it was a wholesome moment and he was a literal child.
I grew up Asian and knew about race almost immediately. The way other people, adults, children, and teenagers treat you or make comments about you, creates a sense of otherness the moment I interacted with other people. The way they mention my eyes or critique my speaking. People point out differences especially when we are young. So, unless you grew up sheltered in a racially homogenous neighborhood or were white in a predominately white neighborhood/school district, you're likely aware of race.
It's the one of the most ridiclorous, weird and more important anti-racist story I ever heard. He get it right: We are no different race. All humans are humans. We have only other tan.
Damn. We should’ve told this to MLK. Forget that speech and protesting you’re about to do. We’ll just all collectively forget one day. 😭😭😭 I get what you’re saying. But it just won’t work like that.
@@HowtobeabeastRace wasn’t even a concept until America invented it tho lol before that people were just categorized into tribes, kingdoms, countries, etc
No it won't. Just Google what black codes are and how many are still in place today. Race isn't a little annoying thing you can just wish away. It's something that gets violently used against you.
