It is hard defending man, getting better each game but sometimes you just can't do nothing, when your making 4/5 tackles on 1 player that game is over for you 99% of the time.

You need to be more composed in defence when you win the ball, look for a pass rather than just pressing A , most of your goals conceded were because of this

Have they now fixed where you can see the card of the player who scored

quality content as always bro, can't lie the defending this year is such aids but far better than the AI crap from last year

This year hurts my attackers run back when I go forward and my defence runs forward when I need them to go back😢

Maybe I am wrong here but r1 on defense for defender help has been clutch for me this year. Didnt see you use it at all maybe give it a try....again maybe i am delusional but it helps me.

Sorry if I'm back seat gaming - but I see you're rushing in with your defenders way too much - you need to make sure you defend at the last second this year - manual defending seems to be less this year, you're switching your defenders too quickly also, just make sure to use one defender so all the other defenders that you're not controlling can get back into position. by switching quickly to other defenders leads to out of position players leaving opened gaps... i hope i explained this well

I was utter shite in fifa 23, gave up after 2 months, but ea fc is really good, when your opponent runs down the wing, double press R1 so he cant pass it to anyone in the box, i concede a lot less goals because of this. Qualified for fut champs but it was sweaty af.

I can't defend in this game either don't know what's going on like they don't let u change to the player you want to always someone miles away from the ball

Am i the only one that after 2/3 games and i want to join a new match it just cant press any buttons but when the time runs out i can just move in all the menus but as soon as i want to try and join a new match it just happends again. Unless i restart fc 24.....

I scudded you on div rivals the other day, you were leading but collapsed big time. Try 2 CDMs sitting deep to protect your CBs. You also kept passing thru the middle and giving it away, I tweaked my tactics as soon as I saw you weren’t using your wings properly. It takes some getting used to :)

Watching this shows I've made the right decision this year in not buying. Stress levels of champs is unmatched 😂😂

EA didn't need to nerf player controlled defending it was the AI defending, auto dropping back and AI blocking was the issue. Casuals will hate this game!

New year, same rubbish cutback goals. You can't ever defend those because your defense play like they have a restraining order commanding them to stay away from any attacker in a mile radius.

The defending is pure rubbish. Players can run down the wing constantly and cut in. The bobbles are also very bad. And scoring from the kickoff is way too easy. They need to patch this shite.
