Right! I always thought it was a perfect ending. I remember watching the final air and immediately after, it loops right into the seriers opener. Just one of the many reasons why its my favorite shows.
Yea, it was a cool way to do that, but at the same time it was a lil unsatisfying for me. We never got to see if they ever got out of the time loop, of reliving their life over and over again.
You always want to end in a way that leaves the audience wanting more. It's the best way to cultivate a loyal fanbase who'll keep coming back long after the series/franchise has ended.
i don't know if your youtube comment section is laid out the same as mine, but look at the comment above yours. xD (their comment implies itd have been better to continue the show longer like the simpsons)
You mean it resets to 1999. Because the professor said the devise will make 1 huge anti Crompton blast to the time before he got the device. The the past is still there. But time will go on without the button.
Loved the ending so much. Meantime the Go Another Round Again has potential to another series. The only thing sadder is Remember This Leela and the Rest of the Futurama Characters with the Exception of Fry, Professor Fansworth & Bender are NOT the Originals. They were 3Times Universes Long Dead in an incident of Professor Fansworth's FastForward Time Machine.
I love this episode it is was such a great way to end the series on, i think it was great idea to end the series after 8 seasons I believe while it was sad it ended, I glad it ended while it was still great just like adventure time, and regular show, Steven universe, jimmy neutron etc because the old saying goes you either die hero or you see yourself live long enough to become a villain so that’s why I am happy it has ended so it can have lagdecy and not become another sponge bob
I’m here to refresh my mind again after the Rick and Morty’s Acid Vet episode. One of the best finales for a long running show 😭 why can’t GoT learn something from this
Man I only saw that acid vat episode the other day and it was so damned frustrating. Not even because of Morty losing all his progress, more the fact that a Morty died everytime he was resetting it It means that in a reality where Jerry pressed that button not realizing what it was, Morty miserably liquified to death in his girlfriends arms and in front of his family.
It’s good and bad personally I thought it was okay but didn’t like how Fry literally decided to commit suicide just after Lela didn’t show up, I don’t know if that was in character for him (or maybe it is because he’s stupid) but after all of those adventures and it’s just Fry and Lela why can’t all the other characters keep living? And it all ends on the same exact day every single time, like it’s crazy to think about that time literally always ends at the same point no matter what happens
I like how this suggests that if fry never jumped and instead waited, longer him and Leela would've gotten together and not frozen the universe forever.
I wish Futurama had one last season, one to be an actual ending, because the current ending feels way too unsatisfying. I feel like there's too many little questions left unanswered.
Am I the only one that hates this ending It puts the entire universe into an infinite loop of nothingness, living over the same couple years as infinitum That’s HORRIBLE
This show, Bojack Horseman, Regular Show, King of the Hill, My Little Pony FIM etc, knew when to quit before the quality diminishes and they earned their endings! Glad they didn't end up becoming stale repetitive Weekend at Bernies style puppeted corpses that drags on and on like The Simpsons, Spongebob and Family Guy

Why is most of the audio only coming out of the left side? I've tested this with multiple videos and its only affected by this video. Terrible editing if you ask me
That was a but a good way to end that last episode of that series it would be better if they made more they made us think all this time that it was going to go on for a long time I wish they would make more for the fans would be happy
There's a chance the show could be revived. Syfy could pick up the series for more seasons, since Syfy airs nightly reruns of the series, however Disney already aquired 21st century fox and most of it's assets including 20th century fox television, so it is unknown if Syfy could ever renew Futurama for more seasons.
It is season 10 though.... look on Hulu they have it as season 10 ep 13 “meanwhile”. Even if you don’t count the movies as a season they still has 9 seasons of the show so this is def not season 7
Futurama's episodes and seasons are all kinda wonky thanks in part to FOX. The second episode of the fourth season was the first episode of that season aired and did so prior to seven episodes of the third season. How it should go is season five being all of the movies, season six being the next 26 episodes, and season seven being the next 26 episodes.
