5.39x10^44 frames per second if answering the question in the asked for units. if anything the relativity of time is your best indicator that your time isn't simulated as a simulation always has true non relative distances in the axis. the fun part of the thought experiment for me is a bit of a transposing of the saying "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" can a simulation be so accurately a physics engine that it literally describes one to one another possibility of a timeline? and does the no cloning theorem hold true between reference frames such that there would be no duplicate worlds and any quantum level accurate simulation would literally be another reality. enough food for thought to barbecue your noodle with. just don't think about quantum teleportation too hard, for your sake.
Speaking of the simulated universe idea, a good question to ask is what is the difference between this idea and the idea of God. Both are questions outside the known universe thus both require special proof. We may have limits on smallest size of things, but that alone would not prove simulation, as it's an element of this universe, not something outside it. Much like how a person who believes in God may point to the various things seen in this universe, but that alone is simply something inside of it, not outside.
The ideia of simulation would rise a paradox of infinity unknkwn simutions, also the ideia of a god is connected to that because a computing machine cannot create itself from nothing. To be reasonable we need to get a rid of the inifinity simulations problem.
@@rejvaik00 It's fun to think about things like this at times. It's fine to think about deeper things in life. Seems like people indulge in hedonism way to easily.
@@huntergman8338 I mean if you never learned to self-control then yeah but some people recognize that it's just better to live life in the pursuits of what you enjoy doing most knowing that you can only do it at limited doses if you could do it forever it doesn't become fun anymore That's a far better thing to do to recognize the obstacles that stand in your way and plan to overcome them when you pursue your goals Contemplating the universe is a time wasting distraction
