I'm glad Leela's family is back, and not just her parents, but her grandma as well that appeared in a few episodes. I also like that they are changing the status quo with Amy and Kif's kids and Leela moving with Fry. It's a shame there is still no mention of Zoidberg's girlfriend since that was a pretty good addition from one of the last episodes in the previous season.

@@jimbo9208 Yeah but the two were shown together without any dialogue from her in the finale "Meanwhile" kind of implying they were still together. Plus from what we saw at the beginning of this clip it seems like everyone is together with their families not just couples thus why Fry and Leela aren't together for Xmas.

From what it looks like in the comment section, it looks like a lot of people forgot what happened at the end of the episode when Zoidberg performed the surgery for his then girlfriend Marianne to give her a new nose. She got a job as a waste collector when she came to pick up trash from Zoidberg's dumpster, and she was going to have to "dump" him. Zoidberg was fine with that as long as they are still friends. She was okay with that and allowed Zoidberg to ride with her in her dump truck, and they kissed for one more time.

Glad to see Calculon is still alive. I guess the Robot Devil's "No backsies" is canon. I can only assume Marianne (unlike Zoidberg) is with her parents for the holidays, and no doubt her parents do not approve of her dating Zoidberg, so he is not invited. And as Zoidberg's species die after reproduction, he will have no living relatives to spend the holidays with... Which begs the question, who was the woman raising him in his flashbacks? Nice to see The Professor with Fry and Cubert... It's a shame Igner wasn't there with them, but I guess he's with Mom and his two half-brothers. I really hope Dwight got his spine fixed, as funny as that bit was, he shouldn't be able to walk. I was wondering how they'd make a mutant joke out of snow angels. Well, it's nice to see Leo and Ines aren't completely ashamed of their grandkids. Am I missing something with the Yeti? I know the Professor caught Yeti-ism from a Yeti, but I'm not sure why he'd consider a Yeti to be a family member... Maybe I'm forgetting an episode? Poor nasty mean old Bender.

Kind of odd that the show is doing a Christmas episode over three months before the holidays, but that "dumpster nog fumes" comment leads me to believe this will be an anthology episode a la Anthology of Interest.

About the age of Cubert and the son of Hermes. Logically, this can be explained by the words of the professor from the 1st episode of the season. Something about the fact that as a result of a temporary collapse, science does not know whether they have grown old or younger. Technically, they have all lived 13 years since the launch of the pilot project. But perhaps their age has become even less.
