Doable, yes. Responsible, no. Anybody serious about becoming a firefighter should be able to budget at least $10/mo for a gym, for sure.

Cpat is the easiest part of becoming a firefighter. I passed mine first try without training at 35 years old.

How much weight do you reccomended for the vest? Any goals i should aim for when running distances and times? Thanks for the videos its really helping me get into the mindset with applications opening up soon.

75 lbs+ for the vest but grab something where you can add and subtract weight 👌🏻 Running goals not so much. Be able to go a couple miles. Honestly, HIIT workouts will serve you well And Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. I’m here to help so stay in touch and let me know what you want help with

You can buy a wright vest that goes up to at least 75 lbs. This will be a huge help

Mannequin for me only sucks cause I’m short lol. It’s lighter than the ones we used in class.

That stage, second to the last one. It is a killer. Gets a lot people. Don’t stop moving on that one, the getting going again is an energy drain

@@fdwill3345 That stage takes some grit. Good form helps a lot with it too

@@FirefightingwithBrad definitely. And I think I found that my peripheral vision wasn't perfect and I'd miss grabbing briefly each time and seconds count. I'll be better next time I know it.
