Take boom off and take it to Bo at J&S Welding in Humboldt. I told you the first go around that just welding those booms wouldn’t hold. It puts stress on the other joints. Bo has fixed several of my black booms on a 4710 and 4830 and they never broke again. TN Tractor will just sell you a new boom section and you don’t wanna know what they cost
Yeah you did Matt I’ve forgot all about them . I wasn’t thinking . Just been upset all day about it . Didn’t nobody tell me that it was broken like that . My bad my guy . I promise I will do better . Btw I really wanted to sit and talk with you all the other day but we all know it bad timing for all of us due to the weather. I was just being respectful to you all cuz I know you all are a lot busy then I was . So I was like maybe next time one day will drink a natural light someday or politic lol you guys are awesome 😎 .
That 4640 and that 750 drill can out perform efficiently anything you got on the yard. You have good reliable equipment it’s just not new but you can make it shiny
Red equipment is cheaper for a reason. The combines don’t hold up as long and wear down faster. As for a sprayer I agree with the guy who said Deere are easy to run. An R4023 is a great sprayer not as expensive as the big nice ones they have now but they still make them and you could probably find one used at a decent price. I ran one for 2 years and I loved it with 90ft booms and not over the top with technology on them
Pete vs Kenworth, GM vs Ford, CaseIH vs Deere, bla, bla, bla... and if you're talking sprayers then why not a Hagie, or a Fendt, or a Oxbow etc... Was a first owner of a New Holland TR70 Rotor combine in 1976, then back to Red rotors in 1980 never to turn back... How many combines have you owned internet keyboard warrior???
The r series and 30 series sprayers are good machines. A huge improvement from the 4710. I work for Knox Co-op in East Tn and I run a r4023 nearly every day. I’ve ran a 4630 and 4730 and the 4730 would be a good machine for your area. I ran a Miller condor for a while and that was a great machine, but 120ft booms weee too big for our hills. I’m definitely not a John Deere guy but they have it figured out with their sprayers and they are what I prefer to run. Simple to operate, easy for the most part to work on and very reliable.
Too each his/her own... Retired from farming... Not gona be shy... Im a kick a$$ welder and fabricator, I would just fix it... Not trying to be a dick, but that sht you're looking at is just part of the job... get out the torch, grinders and welder,,, start fabicating!!!
I'm telling you Big D a GOOD welding shop can fix that sprayer once and for all . Put all them boom troubles behind you. It will be money well spent. Take care buddy and stay cool. I don't know how you can afford to go to the John Deere store all the time. High buck place.
I'm very fortunate to be 30 minutes away from one of the best welders in southern Michigan. Steel, aluminum, pig iron . Doesn't matter what it is. Expensive but he makes us money in the end. And does such great work it makes you money on resale. Hope you can find a good shop like this. You'll be a happy man.
Wassup Big D told you long time ago for the amount of acres you farm a 6500 are 6700 sprayer would be perfect for you and please leave that Red hog alone 😂 smdh I'm still trying to help you save your money I know I'm wasting my time 😂 good luck my friend 🙏💪
@@dionwadefarmsllc You need to get a another sprayer but not a John Deere get a case sprayer bc I know one of my buddies got one and he likes it and I will come and work with you if you need help
