Future Inter & Milan Stadium - Expand, Upgrade or Rebuild San Siro? 

So the Regional Commission ruled last year that the San Siro cannot be demolished due to "cultural heritage". So Inter and Milan are looking at other locations around the city, with a 70,000 capacity stadium in Rozzano (for Inter) and San Donato (for Milan). Ergo, I unfortunately don't see either option happening.

Even though it is old ; this is still a stunning looking stadium.

If the commune handed ownership over to the two clubs jointly, and they put up about €200m each for refurbishment then the San Siro could be given a huge makeover. That's a cheap price for what you would have at the end of it. They just can never seem to get themselves sorted out with either each other or the Milan commune.

Option A & C are the strongest by far…

Option D for me though ideally each club should have their own stadium for identity sake.

I think both Milan sides would like to either reduce the capacity or just build two completely separate smaller stadiums.

L'opzione D è affascinante, ma la capienza? Io sarei per l'opzione B ma con il completamento dell'incompiuto terzo anello arancio... così ho una visione della capienza, che parliamo chiaro non può diminuire drasticamente come si evince dall'opzione A e C, dell'opzione A mi piace solamente l'allungamento dei primi anelli fino a bordo campo. Lo stadio deve aumentare la capienza semmai, no di certo diminuirla!

No matter what they do they have to rebuild the third tier stands (including the iconic roofs) because they are becoming unsafe with oscillation and crumbling concretes. The only logical step (if they want to keep San Siro at it's current place) is to rebuild the 1st and 3rd tier stand like Nou Camp, which will cost them more than a billion euro anyway. They probably will aim to have more executive suites and skywalk for the rich, because they are kinda 'losing' a lot of revenue by not tapping them.

in my opinion inter and milan need to have own stadions same with other clubs have 1 stadion 2 clubs

Option A seems a more realistic option.

Option A is simple and affordable, it won't cost alot of money

The problem is both AC and Inter want to build their own stadiums as their assets. So they will move on from sharing San Siro.

Option A is dreadful and takes away all the impression, individuality and awe of the San Siro design, plus it considerably reduces the capacity. Option B, probably the best as it leaves the stadium as is. Option C is the best new build option but is still uninspiring. Option D could be any new stadium, boring.
