This album is awesome. It’s more post punk and adds great variety to their discography. I realize some fans may like the newer stuff or the more mainstream songs but for me all of them are excellent. Barely a song I don’t enjoy by them. They have created some great tunes. I love the death metal growls he has done and I like the more pure just singing in the softer songs and parts of songs and I like his rap influence in the way he unfolds some of the lyrics at certain “riffs”. The music itself for me I get tired of the super electronic keyboard parts but the base is always on point. I guess that’s why I like this album. It’s a little more post punk but by no means is it my favorite album. Still undecided in that. Still trying to figure out my favorite nirvana album and I can’t pick one out. Trying to make it to Richmond for a more core crowd experience in about 2 weeks. Just caught the show in Charlotte where they opened for Weezer but I wasn’t in the pit and didn’t like it a ton from seats so gotta get another show in. Been missing them for years and this year I hope to get two. Who knows if they keep touring like this… don’t want to miss it while it’s good. Let’s go NC shout out for some original musical artistry talent!!
