A studio session song and a song after all the mixing and mastering are different and hearing that final product after working on it for so long is kinda nice and maybe it was just a good song yk
@rickybobby76everybody can’t make the same sounds tho lol the engineer can do close to magic but not magic bro 😅it’s like saying that anybody with a coach can be in the nfl
I'd literally not even start recording until I realize he's locked 8n what he's gonna say. God damn a 1 take recording would be 8 mins long then you'd have to find the best take. 🥵
bro i was reading the comments thinking yall was gassing it but future really got me cracking the fuck up bro he deadasss just glitching until something work 💀💀💀💀💀💀
@@FrequenciesForeverFamous That's what scatting is my friend. He finds the melody and flow and mumbles or says random things until it sounds g ood. Then he fills it in with words.
Fr they doin all the work… smh, I record, mix, master, write & do all my own shit. So I feel comfortable saying this. I never thought of doing it this way, because it’s legit WAY more work for me as the engineer & I like just practicing my verse enough to get it sounding good enough instead of depending on technology or repeating the same line 50 times just to get it right. I feel like this is why HipHop has lost its magic touch, this shit just sounds stupid & it’s nothing like hearing a full thought out well written verse being rapped. You can still make it feel good, just gotta practice cadence.
@@Roman6ixv3 bro you sound like a wal mart Ian Dior that dresses like someone off the goonies. Ask your engineer to fix your auto tune too, make me wish q-tips were plungers so I could get that bullshit out my ears 😂😩
@@steelokeyThe reason it won’t go the way you’re saying is because most times, these artists aren’t sitting on a beat and writing to it. The beat was most likely not picked until they decided to rap on it, so the lyrics aren’t made until then either. The culture of pop-rap is that mostly everything besides the beat is made on the spot.
If you don’t understand what future is doing. It seems he keeps repeating it cause he’s found something he wants to go off of and is waiting for his mind to find another bar or two that comes naturally rather than thinking about it too much. Maybe also to keep the delivery and how he projects consistent or the engineer can take whichever take future likes the most out of all the repeats and use that one while he cleans it up or tries different things with each repeat. Obviously I haven’t talked to future about it though 😂 so this is just speculation from someone who has rapped for five years and also engineers for others
This all goes to show, make or adapt a process that works for you no matter what anybody says cause as irritating as this may be to listen to, it’s how he makes good music
I hate to keep going on about this but it’s really smart actually cause if maybe one take has a weird sound in the background like a chain moving that you don’t want, well you have ten other takes to go off of without even stopping the recording and having to listen then go back and redo it or if something glitches, etc
Everybody saying they hate Future recording the style don’t listen to Thug sessions then😂 Thug explained that they like to get it EXACTLY the right take and yea the engineer gotta keep every take!😭
So would he have to move the take that future likes to be on time with the beat? or is it like vocal comping where its a loop on that specific part of the beat and they just gotta keep good one and not have to move it around? hope it makes sense lol
@@LilMarv word me either 😂😂 shit sounds wild like im used to the usual comping on logic for example, just re-record until u think it sounds right then pick the best comp
I actually agree, a lot of my personal favorites were written and had many hours of thought put into them. They were coherent stories worth remembering, not these forgettable lyrics with the hook only being memorable due to its melodic sound.
@@cmili4039fax I think people do that a lil different tho cus I seen a few people and also me personally mumble all the way through the beat first listen with a few lyrics sprinkled to see if I like the direction the beat take me. These niggas got money tho so they don’t gaf about studio time cost
not dry just low lat plugins ,and delay comp set in pt . plus low lat set on autotune inserts ..usually really don't use delays or anything like that . or if anything very very little just to help wit the vibe
As an engineer I regret ever holding any recording artist to any standard because clearly one isn't needed. I would refuse or make you pay more to record you if you didn't have your verse memorized because its so much more work in the mixing stage. I know the engineer is mad af. But hey these are A1 artist at work so my judgement isn't worth a wet napkin. Salute to Future and Uzi Vert 🫡
Uzi the goat for real. If jay z not writing then these dudes golden and are on another level. And its crazy how people say it's all about dropping the mist music is not considered hip hop nomination yet jay z and them other dudes are know for not writing. Whats taking do long goofy
@@simrichard7874 People are stingy with that for some reason. If you didnt get it when it leaked, its just a bunch of people tryna resell that shxt now. Super lame.
