I just discovered this today and my jaw has not come off the ground. It's amazing! I've been waiting for open AIs voice feature, and yet here's this thing, which I hadn't even heard of until today, which I think might be better and more useful. And yet Google doesn't even seem to be promoting it, and it's free! This is just totally insane.
I agree. I prefer Claude but I signed up for ChatGPT again just so I could try the voice model and cancelled when they still haven't released it for months 🤦🏻♂️ and yeah, this instant podcast thing is so different and cool. I would def make this its own product if I were google!
AI really is far superior to most humans, it does not lose focus or talk about irrelevant stuff like most humans who love hearing their own voice. Thanks for the video!
Hey ! Great video! Can you just confirm that the whole podcase "has whole book covered"? I mean, if you upload 1000 pages of content, will it actually create a podcast from front to end? (Of course not all pages - but you get the point). Thanks
Thanks! I can't confirm 100% especially from this example since I never read the book, but my impression is that the highlights are from across the whole book. What I read is that it "will generate a summary discussion that highlights key points, themes, and connections from the uploaded content".
This thing is so interesting as I too tried it. Tried it with a film script (my own) and it does get some things wrong. But I do like the feel of how they're discussing the overview of my script from beginning to end, like when you hear human podcasts making discussions an overview of entire book and reacting as well. I do wish the AI podcast could be longer, unless there's a way to make it longer. And I do wonder and hopefully, we can give audio overview an instruction, key points, of what to discuss a bit more specifically. But it just came out and hopefully they'll add and more adjustments. Also, like what someone else said, the subtitles you have in the video are distracting. Maybe tone down the glow or something like that. But it's your channel at the end of the day.
Yeah it's just so cool to have an instant podcast on whatever you uploaded, especially your own ideas. I'm surprised they don't just make this its own product. They probably will eventually. Still early. And thx for feedback on captions. Will use diff style in next ones 👍
You can give it instructions on what to discuss. You just have to create a text file or copy-paste with instructions on what to discuss and add that as another document.
Sure if you can get the AI ads removed. My creation was exactly as another one I saw later on on RU-vid? It's exciting but can use a bit of improvement.
@@MsAriabll not sure I understand. You mean the ads the AI talks about in the podcasts where they say "after the break"? I think it adds to the realism. And do you mean you heard a generated podcast that sounded the same as yours but from someone else?
