you missed one big difference: cfd prop firms allow overnight/weekendholdings whereby futures prop firms dont allow that. this is especially for swing traders a big disadvantage.
Seems like a not very accurate and fair comparison: there is a lot more than you mention that you can trade on futures props. Volume on currencies is fine (unless you trading massive sizes which you would not if you looking at props) You can trade metals too and most allow trading BTC and ETH. Also there are props with accounts without trailing drawdown and choice of static drawdown too. Most futures props offer one time payment for the account so without further monthly payments. Pay once and then its free, in fact you then get free data for the life of the account. Some props even pay your fees back. For a long while now I traded both CFDs and Futures and actually Im in favour of futures. Why? because of better spreads and less price manipulation like they do on CFDs. Also , futures props give generally higher profit share and lower cost of trading. One phase assesment is a winner for me because when you're on second phase on CFDs Im already working for my payouts.
The one prop firm I am trading with migrated to DX Trade. It's very easy to use. Still do my analysis on another platform, but happy with DX so far. Trading cost has dropped which is good.
Hi Andrew, hope the Winnebago life is/was good to you! I followed you for a few years on Forex Signals and you are a Master Trader if I may say so and helped me a lot! Questions: 1- Can I take 3-4 positions on the same trade or is it considered Grid trading? (what is your exact Grid trading Rule). The reason is I like to close partials and it is much easier to just set and forget my different levels of TP with 2, 3 or 4 levels of TP and not having to be in front of the screen and close manually partials. 2- Once funded, is it still 4%DD and 6% Total Drawdown? 3- Do you have contests of some kind (weekly/monthly) for best traders? 4- Do you have a "Pardon Policy" for an exception to the rule breaking, let's say 4-6 months down the road, I made a mistake, even being a great money earner for your firm? Cheers sir
Did not had a great experience with DX Trader. Like C-Trader much better as alternative to MT4. Almost like Trading View, but great other features to. Hope you will consider offering C-Trader in the future as well. Thanks for the video, great info. Blessings
Forex is more affordable with one time fee, they have less rules, they don’t limit your winnings or withdraws. I want to stick with US30 forex prop firms or deposit money in a brokerage
What better for big accounts. 1 million or more. CFD or future and isn't it with CFD you are more likely trading against your broker who is going to make the money you lose over the long run.
