Yuki means snow, mafuyu means mid-winter. There can be winter (mafuyu) without snow(yuki), but no snow(yuki) without winter(mafuyu)...

Well now I have two different stories in wich this would happen, aside from the "Mafuyu is the one who died AU" (that destroyed me, we'll carry on). So, first one: Yuki is in heaven singing this in parallel to Mafuyu's performance, watching over him bc yes, he never get to say goodbye to his soulmate. The other one is that Yuki's reincarnated and is singing (bc he loves it, music transcends) this particular song from a very known band named Given, cause he just feels an special connection to that song and singing it is the only time he feels complete... That's it, hurt with me, maybe I'll do a fanfic with one of those two (or both) bc I'm a f*ing masoquist

I freaking love Yuki and i freaking love Ritsuka too. Even tho Yuki ended up being such a traumatic experience for Mafuyu later on, i still cry for them both. So thankful for Ritsuka that he cud push and comfort Mafuyu this far Remember Hiragi said sth like u wanted Yuki to say " Lets write this song together" To mafuyu . Yuki was unable to do that but Ritsuka was successive. They go on to make music together I know many feel like Yuki was dragged too long but i am happy the mangaka gave such importance to Yuki. He has always been there for Mafuyu aince they were kids. Remember that look of anger as Mafuyu's father was breing dragged away by the cops. He was even holding Mafuyu's hand tightly I too regret the manga ended before we got get more Ritsuka and Mafuyu contents. Yuki was done so well till the end, we just didnt get enough of Ritsuka and Mafu
