Fuzz Pedals on Synth, Vocals, and Drums

Today I'm going to record a song in my home studio with the JHS Pedals "Legends of Fuzz" as my inspiration. Each of these guitar pedals are extremely unique and even though these pedals where made for electric guitar I'm gonna use them on my Korg synth, drums, and vocals to get some fantastic crunch tones. There might be a full on music video in there somewhere too :)

You’re all so sweet! Cheering on my kids is my favorite pastime! Nick starting creating as soon as he could hold a pencil, and it never stopped! First guitar and drum set in elementary school. Started making stop motion and video projects in middle school, including one from the roof of the house. And now seeing all of his artistry come together in this beautiful endeavor is just out of this world!

Suggestion: can we have a "Will it Fuzz?" segment, where you just take a random instrument (mandolin, cello, Turkish balama, dulcimer, harmonium etc.) and put it through some fuzz, just to see what it's like? That would be both interesting & hilarious 😁

Killer track. Totally got the Beck/Cake vibe, and when the chorus dropped I was blown away. I'd literally rock out to this. Also really appreciated how you demonstrated cool pedal tricks with all of the different instruments - never would have thunk it...and you're "funny, like I'm not sharing my robe with you" funny. I was oblivious until the JHS video where you put drums through the Color Box. As God is my witness I thought guitar effects were for guitar.. But hey, this is really really good, especially after a week of fevers and sheer terror. Thanks for sharing your talents.

This was awesome Nick. Channelling Taalking Heads and Beck yet highly original and creative. Loved the video as well. I've told Josh to give you a raise before - not sure if that will cut it anylonger. Maybe a NixPedals range of pedals aimed for "not guitars" is appropriate. Anyway - keep up the amazing work!
